what a lovely fragranced lotion. It rubs in so well and creates such a subtle tan that looks so natural on my skin!! It dries quickly enough too. It does leave your skin feeling a little sticky after you use it but nothing overly worrying. I think I’m in love!
Tips: couple it with a Palmolive coco butter exfoliating body was to make sure your legs are smooth before each application. and do it in the evening. the tan shows well in the morning
This stuff smells amazing, definitely moisturises and gives a tan over time. Last a while, and is great value, good price- cant complain =]
Tips: WASH UR HANDS AFTER USE!! I learnt this the hard way and had orange hands for 2 weeks before it came off.
Leaves my skin nice and soft with a nice light tan. I also use this to upkeep my summer tan. There is a funny smell not nasty i just don't like it so i apply at night and let it rinse off in morning shower.

I am very pale. Very very pale. My legs in particular are so white, they're reflective. So every year I go looking for something to take the glare off, and transform my vampire white skin into something a little more summery. I found Dove's product to be one of the best fake tanning products out there.
You build it over a few days so you don't end up with a streaky look, which is great for people like me who have failed multiple times with stronger tanning products (too impatient, and not enough attention to detail). You have a choice of light to darker brown to go with your existing skin tone. The moisturiser in the product is great and completely does the job.
I am not a fan of the smell - it's not a bad smell, but it is distinctive to tanning products, and I'd rather not smell it the whole day, so I would do what others have suggested here and put it on at night to give it a chance to disperse somewhat.
Great product, easy to use, very reasonable price point - really not a lot to complain about!
Tips: 1. Wash your hands after you've used it. 2. If you are looking for a more immediate effect, and are very pale, then use the darker version straight away. It comes up pretty well (but be more careful in your application to avoid streaks).
I love this product! I use it everyday for 2 or 3 days to reach my perfect shade of golden, then keep using every couple of days to retain the colour. It goes on easily and feels good on my skin. It doesnt come off on my sheets or clothes. Easy to apply with no streaks. It makes me 'healthy" looking without turning me orange or yellow! Love it, just not so keen on the scent, its not a strong smell, but just a smell that hangs around.
Tips: Watch the dry patches like knees etc .
I think this gradual tanner tans more than other brands I have used, which is why I like it as you start to see results after just one application. I use it for about 7 days in a row then apply once every couple of days after I've reached my desired tan colour.
Tips: It feels more like a moisturizer than a tanner but DON'T forget to wash your hands afterwards else they will go discoloured!
This product is excellent value for money. After just one application in the evening, skin is a light brown by the morning. And it is a great moisturiser. Takes about 10mins to dry. It does have a slight smell. No colour comes off on sheets.
As with any tanning product, the most I would use it for is about 3-4 days in a row and then leave it to gradually wear off before starting to re-apply a week or so later - otherwise you will get a build up of the tanning colour, which will eventually not look that great. A fake tan is never going to be as even or last like a real one and there will always be little imperfections around elbows, knees, ankles, etc.
I also use this on my face and it works very well. It is pretty forgiving...I have never had any dark patches or signs of a fake tan on my face after applying it.
I recommend it to friends.
Tips: After using it for 3-4 days, wait for at least a week to re-apply or you might get build up of fake tan in dry or bony areas.
This is a very good self tanning lotion for a natural gradual glow. It is easy to apply and has a double purpose as a good body moisturiser too. It gradually tans your skin each day giving it a nice "sun kissed" natural tan, unlike other products which make your skin orange looking. The bad side is it has a funny smell. But gives great results

Dove summer glow is a great gradual tanning lotion it gives a nice tan/golden glow without looking to orange, I use this all the time and dont get any streaks or uneven colouring!

I am sooo pale so when ever I want to be abit tanner on my legs I put this on the night before then wash it off in the morning as I dont like the smell of it after it has been put on. Leaves me with a natural look, the only people who notice i have it on is the people who know how white I really am haha
Tips: I get the lightest one and I put it on a few times so do the first coat let it dry then do the 2nd coat and sometimes a 3rd coat just depends how dark I want to be, Reason I get the lightest one is for that reason I can put it on more then once for a more darker look. Not a fan of being pale haha
