Dove Summer Glow Review

I've never been good at fake-tanning, and I can honestly say there would be some pretty scary (think streaky, tiger-stripe tan!) looking photos of me out there on Facebook if I wasn't able to rely on this to get my tan on. I can always be confident that this will give me a nice tan, especially if I start a few days before I want the tan to really appear.

It's so easy to rub in evenly, and because it's gradual I never have to worry about streaks! I've had so many comments over the years too, saying what a nice natural tan I've got and asking if I've been out in the sun. When I tell people I did it myself they're always surprised!

Huge bonus too is how awesomely moisturising it is for my skin. Nice to be able to skip the extra step of body lotion in the morning. Improves my skin's appearance, and feeling! It feels nice after applying too, not too greasy like other lotions can.

Been using this for 3+ years now, and can't imagine stopping anytime soon!

LOVE this product!! I've tried a lot of different products and I have found this is the best one out! Has a really nice smell (love the smell) and absorbs quickly. The smell can be overpowering if you have a perfume intolerants. It tints/tans the skin without streaks. It has a natural look. I found it worked really quickly too!! Love it!!

I always want to try other products because I have had such awful results, but with this, I know what I’m getting every time. Its builds up easily, and has a nice natural colour. I like that’s its moisturising and the product goes a long way so its good value.

I apply this every second day during winter to stop myself from looking super pale. It gives me just enough colour to look healthy and glowing. It smells quite nice when applying but the processing smell is weird... It smells earthy and not great but i just perfume bomb myself. It does leave me feeling a bit greasy but i find the colour and non streak finish so good that i don't mind putting up with it. I find the light skin one doesn't do enough so i use the one for darker skin and its great!

I LOVE Dove summer Glow! I use it every year when I want to start wearing shorts and skirts because the weather has fined up but my legs are still pasty white!! Its so nice to use, it doesnt streak, it moisturisers at the same time, and to top it all off I love the smell! You can really notice the tan building up over time,so it doesnt take long to get that tanned look without having to sit out in the sun. Its definatly affordable,and most supermarkets have it,so easy to find too. Alot cheaper and better for you than sun beds too!

I tried this as a means to give me that warm glow. Being very pale means that the sun and I are not the best of friends so thought I would give this one a go. One of my work colleaques used this brand and she looked fantastic. So I gave it a go, followed instructions and ended up looking like I had eaten something that had upset my stomach and then I was caught short. I think there are still some of us where even the lightest of buildup of colour is too strong. So unfortunately I will not be using it again except maybe on my arms.

This is a great product for wanting to look less pale in the colder months. Super easy to apply, take off and doesn't have a bad smell. I could definitely see a even natural darker colour develop on my skin. The only slight problem I had was sometimes it would settle in creases like in my elbows. However through being careful and practice I found that I was able to stop that.

Well I love the colour it leaves when I use this product on my legs it always seems to go to dark and splotchy on my ankles and knees :( I have tried multiple time and each time I get the same result. Not sure if is the way I apply or the actual product but this experience is enough to put me off

I have been using this product in the dark skin colour for years now (I have pale skin) and absolutely love it for subtle glow that you can build up without going streaky. Only issue is the overpowering smell - which most fake tans have.
