Dove Summer Glow Review

I do like this product, and it is one I have been using for many years now. I used to use it all the time when I was at high school, to give me a natural looking glow during the summer when we had to wear skirts. However, I did feel that this could often go quite yellowish on my legs and around my ankles and feet. I suppose I could have been using it too much or something, but it was quite ugly. I still use this product every once and a while. I also do not love the smell, but it is not too overly pungent.

I have used this product on and off for over 5 years. I seem to always buy it on sale and forget why I don't use it. Don't get me wrong it does what it says (by giving you a gradual tan) but putting it on alone is a mission. Rubbing it in then waiting for it to dry is worse than watching paint dry because depending on where you've applied it (usually everywhere) you have to stand around naked waiting too. And forget trying to wear tight fitting clothes or white clothes either.i can tell when you have applied it and its not dry yet as its tacky feeling on my skin. And even after its dried and 'soaked in' I still find it being sticky feeling. ld much rather use a spray on or go get it done professionally.

I've used many tanning products, this was one of the first products i tried.. Its defintley nowhere near as good as the foam tan "loving tan" which is my go to when i can afford it, but for its price i think its great, it does tan you but i find when i use it on my overall body it doesnt seem to go on well, when i use it on my cleanly shaved legs tho it works great. its a good tan if you are planning to go out in a short dress and just want to slap some quick cheap tan on.

I used this product once as I received it as a present. I have fair skin and this did not work well for me at all.

First off application alone was such a hassle the drying process takes time.. ALOT of time. And the outcome was not desirable, when it did start to build up a tan I went straight from pale to an orange/yellow.

Luckily I only tried it on my legs and was easily hidden.

Have purchased this a few times. As long as you don't use too much it leaves a nice light tan, although it can build up and be streaky or splotchy if not spread right.

It's easy to find and afforable (available in pretty much every supermarket and the like) so is a good entry level product.

The only real negative I found was it's a bit thick and can be hard to get out of the bottle.

I keep going back to this, I really like how easy it is to use. I use it daily and you can build on it to get a deeper tan. It looks so natural and you don't get any streaking.

I always have one of the Dove summer glow. It both makes your skin smooth and gives you a slight tan that looks super natural without the tan lines. The only thing that I don't like about it is the smell .. but it does disappear very quickly and if you mix it with a nice smelling body lotion you won't even notice ! :)

I did everything right yet I kept going orange. I gave it multiple chances but sadly it is just not for me. I guess I will just have to find other ways to go from white to tan! It did moisturise though?
