The packaging makes this product easy to use and apply. I like the smell of the product. I have used the dark version of this product and it left me with a natural glow. I have very white skin, but this works for me. It takes about six hours for it to reach maximal affect. When it comes of it can streak, so it is important to rub the product in well.

Tips: I usually put this product on after a shower, as it comes off in the shower slightly. I put quite a bit on and leave to soak in and dry.
The shade I’m using is the medium to dark and at first I was a bit worried just looking at the packaging but after using it for awhile now I’m not entirely happy with the shade. I’d say I have quite a medium semi olive skin tone, not dark but not light either. I definitely would recommend the medium to dark colour for paler skin tones to just because it is a gradual tan which means it isn’t dark straight away so I feel like it would be perfect for 2 or 3 shades lighter than me. Applying it once you get a pretty natural colour. I’ve definitely noticed that applying everyday will create a darker colour which is good because you can choose the colour you want. The scent is nice and the product also doesn’t streak that much either. You just have to make sure you’re applying it thoroughly.
Being quite fair I definitely need a bit of a top up to mask that ghostly appearance.
Ive been using a bottle of this and it seems to keep going and going. A little seems to go a long way moisturising but in terms of building colour it's quite slow.
It's a pleasant smell that doesn't smell like fake tan. Also it doesn't seem sticky it dries quite nicely so your free to dress or sleep without worrying it will rub off onto your clothes or pants. A nice creamy solution that adds moisture to keep the legs smooth and unscaly.
The tint thought is just a tint for me. I guess that's a good thing in a way as it means I don't have to worry about tan lines. But I find I have to keep on top of using this to keep up the tint it adds to my legs.. if I miss a day all my previous efforts gone.
Despite the constant use it's not bad for the price a tint and moisturiser in one is pretty good. If you want a tan though - keep shopping.
I purchased this at the end of winter to use on my legs as I seem to tan on the top easily bit not my legs. I liked the price at $7 for 400 ml and the fact it is a moisturiser as well. I have used numerous tanning creams in the past which grab your skin and turn orange so prefer to use a slower tanner that is easier to control the colour. This is easy to apply and scent is ok but as with all tanners does have a slight scent which I don't like -not noticible immediately but slightly there all the same . I have yet to apply a false tan that does not have this particular scent and if you use false tans you will know what I mean. With Dove it is not strong however so easy to overcome. I only use false tan on my legs so easy to apply daily and I found after about 3 days I could see a very light tan starting . I like the slow approach as it is less noticable and looks like the sun is just doing it's job plus there is no sudden strong colour with possible orange overtones. I have found using this tanner my skin is not dry and a quick rub in each day keeps my legs looking just slightly tan which is a really natural look. Easy to use and a nice moisturiser as well
Tips: Use every day -little and often to get a nice light tan.
I like this product to build a gradual tan on my legs. Haven't had much success with it on other areas. As with all tanners you need to pay attention to areas like your knees and ankles. The smell and consistency is great and I always have some in my cupboard.
Tips: Make sure you wash in the creases of your fingers when you're finished so you don't get a line of fake tan like me haha!
I've been using this for, years, like I don't know how many but I'm pretty sure over 10?! Anyway...
Usually if I want to be tanned for a wedding or event, I'll use a tanning mousse the night before and do my whole body. However there are times where I can't be bothered with all that, or I just want a bit of colour rather than full tan, that's when I use this. Perfect for those winter months when you don't want to be tanned, but you don't want to be super pale either.
I find if I start applying nightly a few days before needed, I end up with the perfect colour.
Downsides for me however is the smell, it's not unpleasant but I do notice it quite a long time after it's been applied so find it best to apply at night then shower in the morning. Also the shade I feel is slightly off, it's does tend to have a more yellow undertone on me, but not enough to stop me from using it.
Tips: Make sure to exfoliate with this product and wash hands thoroughly, although it's a gradual tanner it does still stain around the wrists/ankles if you're not careful.
This is a great option if you can't be bothered faffing about with a moisturiser and also a fake tan. I usually use this if I'm short on time. It does a surprisingly good job for a cheap tanner. You still have to take care and make sure you wash your hands thoroughly and don't let it sit in little crevices otherwise you will get those tell tale tanning marks here and there. I wouldn't want to use it as my only tanning option. I think there are better tanners if you want a full on tan. But this is definitely a great one if you just want to take the edge off that winter pasty white glow!
I found this really quick and easy for me to use, I'm a solo mum of 3 so I dont get alot of time to myself, I'm not aloud out in the sun much either due to being on some meds I need to take, so this made me feel like I didnt need to look totally white comming into summer and over the summer times. I used the light one as I'm not that dark naturally and didnt want it looking fake either.
One down fall is if you get wet legs or go swimming, your legs feel all slimy
Tips: The more layers you put on the darker you will get and will last longer.
This is so good for those who are new to self tanners and aren't too sure where to start. You definitely have to use it daily as it washes off/fades by the next day but its so easy and doubles as a moisturiser so it doesn't stall your routine too much
I really like this and use it on a pretty regular basis on my white legs!
It can leave you feeling a bit oily but it's fine once it fully dries down. I find it takes about 8-12 hours to see a real difference. It doesn't make me look orange and provides a nice, sun-kissed glow. It's buildable and doesn't look unnatural.
It's affordable and I find the big bottles last me a long time!
Tips: Wash hands after applying!
