Dove Summer Glow Review

During the summer months I like my white (English-rose) legs to have a hint of colour when peeking out from my capri pants. I replace my usual body lotion with this product and add to it each day to get an impressive light tan over 5-7 days. At this point I find you need to exfoliate and start again, The colour is lovely on my skin and matches my naturally tanned arms.

I prefer using this product as it blends in nicely and does not leave streaks on your skin. You need to use it a few times to build up to colour you want.

This gradual tanner was great. I’m very pale and this is exactly what I wanted, it works very quickly (2-3 days). It doesn’t go all streaky like fake tan. I really recommend!

Thus Summer is a bit of a washout so far. This was an impulse purchase from Chemist Warehouse, but it is available from lots of places. A very light brownish colour, this lotion promises to gradually build colour on wherever it is applied. A little goes a long way, and does take a little longer than I am used to, to absorb. Colour build up is nice.

I love this product! It gave me a really even tan over a few days and has a lovely smell. Its quick and easy to put on and doesn't require lot of effort. I did find that if I put it on everyday it did make the tan look fake, however if I applied it every few days it looked real. It does exactly what it says it does and I will definitely continue using it in the future.

This is a really affordable tanning solution, i used it all throughout summer last year. I like how you can gradually built it up to a darker tan.

I use this in the months leading up (and through if I haven't seen much sun) to summer on my white legs. I always exfoliate with my exfoliating gloves (making sure to focus on my ankles, and knees) in the shower, shave my legs, and moisturize well and I really like the colour one application leaves. Even with the care I take beforehand I do seem to get darker spots around the edges of the underside of my knee cap, but a little exfoliation once the tan has developed helps to lighten it up.

Even though it can leave darker patches where your skin is dry, with a little care this tan works perfectly for me and is the right shade.
