Dove Summer Glow Review

Not to orangey, and gives a nice slow build up. Doesn't irritate after shaving which is good because I have sensitive skin. Must remeber to wash off hands though or the hands stain quite badly.

I don't like using fake tans, so this is really nice. It just gives me a gradual looking tan. Without turning my legs orange!

Fake tans usually scare me because I hate the look of being too orange or too obviously fake tanned. Dove summer glow is easy to put on evenly and it doesn't leave streaky lines. It makes my skin feel really nice as well. The smell isn't too bad, it's not as strong or long lasting as many other fake tans, and it's not too orange.

I have used this for my college ball because I had used it previously and it worked really well without making my skin look over done. Takes about 2 days of use to fully work though

I am very pale. Very very pale. My legs in particular are so white, they're reflective. So every year I go looking for something to take the glare off, and transform my vampire white skin into something a little more summery. I found Dove's product to be one of the best fake tanning products out there.

You build it over a few days so you don't end up with a streaky look, which is great for people like me who have failed multiple times with stronger tanning products (too impatient, and not enough attention to detail). You have a choice of light to darker brown to go with your existing skin tone. The moisturiser in the product is great and completely does the job.

I am not a fan of the smell - it's not a bad smell, but it is distinctive to tanning products, and I'd rather not smell it the whole day, so I would do what others have suggested here and put it on at night to give it a chance to disperse somewhat.

Great product, easy to use, very reasonable price point - really not a lot to complain about!

Have used this most summers. So easy to use as a body lotion, blends well and gives a natural tan that you can easily build by day use.

I really like this product, it gives you a nice gradual tan. The fragrance of it doesn't much appeal to me and it does take a wee while to dry, but colour does not come off on the sheets and works fast. I would buy this again.

I've been using this for years now, I'm not big on spending hours letting myself bake in the sun so I find this awesome to top up my natural glow I get during summer and amazing for giving my body a light glow during winter. The formulation makes it super easy to get it on perfectly without streaks or blotches, it's slightly greasy when applied but that does disappear very quickly and leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft.

I used this gradual tanning product for a number of years. I have very fair skin and this gave me a natural looking tan without being orange.

I applied at night and really focused on applying a light even layer and rubbing it in until it fully absorbed. For a "summer glow" it will probably take around 2-3 applications.
