I use to use this product quite a bit while on the hunt for the perfect fake-tan! The gradual build up of tanning seems like a good idea to begin with, but doesn't actually work that well in reality. The reason for this being that you're constantly applying new fake tan over the top of old tan that is starting to come off in different places. The result ends up being a quite uneven, streaky look. It product also gives you a very yellowish tone which doesn't look very natural. It also smells weird and the smell lingers on your skin and clothes/bedding etc!

Great colour, goes on well and lasts ages but irritates my skin. Would recommend it if you don't have sensitive skin.
Unfortunately for people who's skin resembles a white piece of paper, this may not work so well. I found that I could use it for about 4 days, and see my skin turn a yellowy garish colour that would fade incredibly quickly in the shower.
It's smell is nice, but I find it quite sticky and heavy on the skin. I may recommend this to a friend with a darker skin tone, because I know lots of people have had success with this product & colour seems to show up much faster on more tan skin.
It's a very, very average fake tan in my opinion, but I guess it does give you some colour, but not a colour I like.
Its a pity because I love most other dove products, but I just cant seem to love this
I brought this product when it first came out and then about 6 months ago for summers. I thought the scent of this product was awful when I first brought so I thought maybe a couple of years after making they would have done something different with the scent but nope it is still the same. However, I did like how it gave a gradual glow to your skin and it builded when you keep applying it each day. However, you have to work into the lotion ever good and small amount to the knees, ankles, elbows and wrists so the colour soaks in properly. This will not make the tan your have look weird and patchy. Overall, I would most likely not buy this product again and just get out in the sun with sunblock of course and the protective gear.and get my tan that way.
I have used this product a few times and it does moisturise nicely but I feel personally it doesn't leave a very natural look on my legs quite orangey and fake. It is sold for a good price at supermarkets so if you are on the run and need something I recommend
Tips: Apply after showering and before dressing. Wait a few minutes for the product to absorb.
This moisture was great at first but after a week of use my legs turned a weird orange colour and had a strange smell which took forever to get off my sheets.
I used to love this 3-4 years ago so i know how to use it. I exfoliated, shaved and moisturised my dry patches to ensure it would go on evenly. I was super disappointed to realise the next day my ankles and feet had orange patches. I am wondering if the ingredients or recipe changed! But would not recommend to anyone anymore sadly
Well I had a lovely Tan all over except for my Lilly legs that seem to take absolutely ages to Tan so I decide to try Dove summer glow ( but as I'm quite tanned) I buy Med Colour loofah my legs in the shower then dry off and apply the Dove summer glow.......next day I look like zebra striped legs
Tips: Make sure you get the right Colour and I can give you no tips to prevent streaking
This product is quite handy, especially if you don't tan. Only thing I found is you can defiantly see where you used a little but more because it came out darker, almost streaky in places. On my legs which are lily white, I found make my legs look quite yellow.
Tips: Best put in after a shower
This tanner has I super slow gradual build up so it would take almost 3 weeks to actually get the real tan colour you want. I don't think this tanner is as good as everyone says and I much prefer Garnier! However it smells nice and drys fast so you can go to bed with out having oily legs.
Tips: I like to put on a generous amount and wear it overnight so I can wake up with slightly tanned legs.
