Dove Summer Glow Review

I bought this at the supermarket thinking it was just a normal moisturizer as I was in a rush. When I read it was a light tanner, I was a bit hesitant to put it on my skin as I am VERY pale and thought it may make my legs look out of place. It takes a while for the tanner to start working and be noticeable, but I was pleasantly surprised when I started to see a nice 'summer glow' as they call it, which is great during the Winter months where I get no sun at all. I don't know how to describe the smell of the lotion, but it sticks for ages, not that I'm complaining, it's lovely :) It leaves my skin amazingly soft and smooth for hours afterwards, I generally only apply after showers though. The consistency was what you would expect from a normal moisturizing lotion, and has a slight skin toned colour from the tanning part. A little goes a long way as well, I can see this product lasting me a lot longer than any other moisturizer I've used in the past.

This is product is amazing! It is my go to Summer moisturiser and tanner combo all in one! :) The scent is delicious too, which is an added bonus !

It really is a great moisturiser for dry summer legs, but the thing i love the most is that it gradually builds a natural looking sun-kissed tan over your whole body! Doesn't look orange or uneven, it's very simple to use and apply, just like applying any moisturiser.

I've used heaps of different tanning creams and lotions and have found this one is my all time favourite !!

Comes in a freestanding bottle and doesn't leak at all which is great for packing in your overnight bag or beach bag ! And one bottle lasts me all Summer long, so very good value for money

I use this product whenever I know I need to look tanned for something. I can get a really nice tan like I have been out in the sun for weeks in just days. I love how fast this gradual tanner works. The lotion is quite thick and does take a while to dry but I find has a nice fresh scent. I never get any uneven patches when I use this and I find it gives a very natural tan which I like. I found that even if I left a day without reapplying I wouldn't lose the tan straight away even after shaving.

I bought this product one year ago and I am a loyal customer of this product! I must reveal I am quite tan myself however I use this 2-3 days in a row just before the day I wanna look super tan and it worked perfectly! However last summer I used it daily and by one week the fake-ish tan look was not noticeable. pretty good product, works subtly.

Love this stuff. I'm super pale and this is the only tanning thing I use. It starts off as a subtle glow, not too noticable but each day you build it up it gets gradually darker until it turns into such a nice tan! It's great for paler people so you don't go orange and you can get your desired effect. It smells amazing, lasts for ages and moisturises great! It's a good price an does it's job well. It lasts a while too I usually put it on at night times but you just have to let it sink in before bed. I love that it doesn't to streaky, it's very smooth and natural looking. It comes in a squeeze bottle so it's easy to put straight onto your legs :)

Great product to use everytime i'm out of the shower, it's part of my beauty routine. I love how easy it is to apply to the body, and does add moisterizer so body isn't dry and flaky. This will be something I will continue to buy, and for a pick me up use over winter I feel much better with a little tan, it's so natural looking and adds a good glow! bring on summer

I love love love this moisturiser! I have olive skin and like to maintain this through winter as well as go a shade or two darker in the summer. The bottle is a decent size and the moisturiser comes out really easily. I love to use this straight after a shower and I rub the moisturiser in circular motions, making sure to apply evenly. I have the medium to dark shade and I love the fact that a day after using this I already have a natural looking tan. I don't find this product to be patchy or orange at all and it is so moisturizing on my body! I use this every day and find that exfoliating every few days helps keep my tan smooth and even. I find my skin really does look like it has a nice sun kissed glow to it and it is so easy to maintain. I would recommend this to others who want a natural glow to their skin, or even a light tan. It's very easy to use and maintain, it's really affordable (can usually pick this up from countdown on sale for $6) and it is great for hydrating and moisturizing the skin. Sometimes I use this on my face as well because my face is always a lot paler than my body. As a mum I like the convenience of this product and it really works for my busy lifestyle.

I asked my mum to get me some fake tan from the pharmacy and she came back with this. I tried it and although the first two days I didn't notice much of a diffrence by the third I could see it starting to build a gradual tan. I get psoriasis on my legs and it comes and goes. At the moment I've got a bit on my legs and because we are coming into summer I need to take some of the white glare off them from being in pants all winter. I put it straight overtop of my moisturizer after exfoiliating in the shower and 3 days later I have the glow and no extra irritation to my psoriasis! I use the fair one because I am really pale. It's better than other tanners I've tried because it's so gradual I don't end up going orange! I will definitely keep using this for summers to come. It's affordable and gentle and it works well with my skin!

I have super pale skin - in fact mu legs look like they belong on a dead person! So I use this religiously nearing the end of spring to take he edge off and develop a good colour by the time bare legs and arms and required.

This is a bargain when on special at the supermaket (under $5!) and works so well. It doesnt go orange or smell like fake tan at all. The only problem I have with it is after using it for a while, it starts faking off my skin leaving darker patches, so I then have to exfoliate it all off and start fresh.

Moisturises well too, and leaves my skin soft and glowing.

I love using this tanner pre summer I have extremely pastey white legs that really never seem to tan no matter what, so Dove Summer glow helps keep my white legs from blinding people :P

I like to apply after exfoliating and shaving and then apply every 2-3 days it's a lovley absorbant cream that is really moisturizing and has a nice scent. Within a few hours I can see it starting to work.

Like some of the other ladies I do have to exfoliate it off after a few applications and start again as it starts to look a little or little orabe

But for the price it's a great tanner
