This tan (for me personally) did not work out that great as I found that the more you gradually applied it, the more room there was for it to streak- which it did. The first couple of coats went on quite nicely but then there seemed to be a buildup and it went quite streaky and had a slight orange tinge. I would still prefer my instant tans over this but i can see how it would also work perfectly for others!
Makes everything tan except your knees- they just go straight to orange. Not good, but works everywhere else.
Tips: Be careful that its not streaky and check that you get your ankles too!
It's a great moisturizer and it smells lovely however it's hard for me not to end up with a streaky, uneven result as I can't really see where I'm putting it! The tan that does come through is a lovely shade however.
I tried this last year in the hopes of getting a nice summer glow, but there was only a very slight change in my skin colour. There was also more colour to areas like my knees and feet, even though i had exfoliated and moisturised. Maybe a better moisturiser was needed? It did leave my skin feeling lovely though, and it didn't have a strong smell like some of the other fake tans. Maybe i'll try again but use the darker colour and a better moisturiser!
This product is ok for the price. To get a noticeable difference you need to apply it more than on e. The main problem is that it goes on much lighter than the shade it changes to. This means that you won't notice how badly you have applied it until it has set. Easy to wash off but can be quite streaky. The colour isn't too bad more of a gold brown than an orange.
Tips: Wear gloves and apply a thin coat. Wait an hour and reapply which is a bit of a pain but the best way to get an even result
As a wickedly pale person I tend to be very hesitant when it comes to tanning lotions however going into the sun results in burning, freckling and peeling so I thought I would give this product a try. Having given it a read, what stood out to me was the idea of a gradual tan as it meant I wouldn't suddenly turn into a completely different colour and it seemed a bit more controlled. It takes a few days to really notice any result at all, which is a good thing and a bad thing. The formula itself is nice and spreads easily plus goes a loooong way. I was quite surprised when I realised the amount I intended for one leg could actually do both legs reasonably easy. I found the colour to be natural looking which was important. It does not last long and tends to wash out easily which I also liked as I wasn't stuck with it after my experimenting. I definitely think this is a good option for people not too keen on self tan but dont want to rush into the dangers of the sun all day. Great price too!
Tips: Definitely wash your hands thoroughly after this! Make sure it is spread evenly or it can go patchy. Basic self tan precautions apply here!
It works well but honestly it makes you smell like a damn tanning factory. It's pretty strong smelling which is unfortunate. Use it before bed so its not so strong smelling the next day!!
I bought this in two different colours, eventually getting darker as it didn’t really make me that much darker. I also didn’t like the strong fake tan smell that you (and everyone else around you) can smell the entire time you have it on.
Admittedly I don’t moisturiser my entire body everyday so potentially it could work for you if you do. I would much rather use an instant fake tan than this.
I used to use this product quite a lot. I like the colour and the fact that it is hard to get it wrong. However, I am allergic to it! I'm not allergic to anything (except Redken hair colour) and this made my legs break out in this awful itchy rash for days. Not ideal at all! I'm not sure what ingredient I reacted to, as I use fake tan products a lot and this is the only one that I've ever had any issues with :(
