I warn you I love Spandau Ballet and this review might be hard to get through without hearing that classic song. I apologise in advance if I give you an earworm...
Is there anything more posh than bathing your face in gold? [GOLD!] I don't think so!
This was easy to unfold and apply, it adhered well considering it was slathered in serum.
I left it on for ages. Like me and this mask probably saw our gold [GOLD!] anniversary. It was kind of cooling, kind of soothing. It just felt good.
So after soaking my face in gold [GOLD!] what did it look like? Radiant darling. Radiant.
I wish this wasn't quite so expensive but that's ok, I'll be using this for a treat. With Spandau Ballet in the background.
I love sheet masks and managed to get a few different ones of these in the Vault. Thanks BR. I like the foil packaging, it looks high end to me and is easy to tear open.
Instructions are laid out clearly on the back. The mask itself is gold which is pretty cool. It was easy to unfold and not dripping with too much product. I liked it didn't have any silly layers I needed to peel off. Simply place on your face and adjust....easy.
It fit my face well and stayed put the whole time. The outside of the mask felt quite dry, however when I peeled it off there was a lot of product left on my face which I gently massaged in. It was sticky for a bit but thankfully dried down....I hate a sticky face!
I have dry skin and this definitely gave me a burst of hydration. My face felt incredibly soft and supple. It did not break me out at all or cause any irritation. The next day I noticed it was still soft and my foundation glided on beautifully. As for the wrinkles it softened the ones around my eyes but I think you would need to use this regularly for better results.
Overall this is a lovely mask and I am slowly working my way through the range so I can pick my favourites.
