Dr. LeWinn’s Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Overnight Sleep Mask

I am a sceptic. I love to try all these beauty products but don’t really feel like they make much of a difference, but boy this is a game changer. Recently joined the “40” club and feeling like everything has gone down hill I noticed I had a quite a few fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. Dark circles were also starting to take residence and my face was drying out. I have been using this collagen sleep mask for four weeks now but from the first couple of uses it was already starting to make a difference. The packaging on this is very cute. Use to pump on to your fingertips and mix it together to activate the mask, rub it in gently. It feels so heavenly on your skin so light! A little sticky till it dries so I waited to lie on my pillow. When you wake there is no oily residue and your skin is actually glowing! My fine lines have reduced considerably and my skin looks dewy and younger. The smell if the mask is lovely and supposedly aids in sleep, i’m a very light sleeper so i’m not sure that helped but it was certainly great not having an offensive smell on my face when I am trying to sleep. Overall I thoroughly recommend this product and although a little in the pricy side, it is worth it!

My first time using a Dr LeWinn's product so I was really keen to see what it would be like. PACKAGING: red and silver box with lots of info, the product itself is a see-through and silver dual pump bottle, so it's easy to keep an eye on how much you have left. With a good fitting lid and pump that you control to some degree to dispense the required size amount, the hard plastic however makes this feel less luxurious than I think they're aiming for, but there is little worry about it leaking or breaking. Directions for use on bottle, Ingredients and claims on the box. Clinically proven results in just one week for hydration, 28 days for improved skin elasticity and skin fatigue.

PRODUCT CLAIMS: This product throws around some interesting claims. 'DreamScentz' to improve quality of sleep and 'Dawnenergy' to reveal morning radiance, 'Synchrolife' to counteract digital pollution effects. Collagen peptides to lift, firm, and plump for younger looking skin.

PRODUCT: A pump or two provides all you need to cover the face, with two gels, one clear, one pearlescent pink, you mix together prior to application. It's lovely and cooling, and spreads well. Slight sweet, flora scent which isn't at all strong or unpleasant. As a mask you wear to bed, it isn't thick and you don't feel like you're wearing a mask, designed to be absorbed while you sleep. I found this very sticky to the touch, and felt my face sticking to the pillowcase, however there was no residue/mark left behind and it was fully absorbed by morning.

PERFORMANCE: Didn't notice any difference to my sleep, however skin is certainly more hydrated, and after a couple of week's using 2-3 times a week as per directions, the skin around my cheeks and eyes does look visible plumper, and the forehead has the appearance of being smoother.

OVERALL: Unfortunately I did end up with some small bumps on my forehead so I stopped applying there. Dry patches on the sides of my cheeks disappear for a day or two after use. The sticky feeling did put me off as I often sleep with my hand under my face. While hydration is better, the claims of improving sleep, radiance and skin fatigue haven't worked for me, nor is my skin glowing in the morning. I will continue using until the bottle is finished to see if there is any further improvement. ps: I'm am yet to understand how this gel mask is meant to help with 'digital pollution'.

At first I found the pump did not dispense from both sides, so for the first week it was not mixing. Then suddenly it would work and the texture of them both mixed together was lovely. It felt really hydrating going on. One negative was if I put it on not long before bed it would feel slightly sticky when I would lie down. After the trial period I have not noticed any major differences, my skin is possibly smoother but I feel only I would notice and I need to keep using this longer to see if it would be worth me purchasing it.

I love Dr Lewinns. I rate it as some of the best skin care available, and it really strikes that balance of being quite luxury, but equally affordable if you select the right products to slot in and elevate your skin.

This is one such product. It seems to retail for around $80, but you only use it 2-3 times a week so its actually quite economic.

It dispenses 2 serums (?) that you mix together before applying to your face and neck. With skin like an oil slick I love me a gel formula, this is no different, so light and non-greasy.

I love the feel of my skin when I wake up after using this, it feels radiant to touch, how is that even possible?!

I think there has been good improvement over the last few weeks, especially in the firmness of my skin.

The worst thing about this product is trying to limit yourself to only using it a few times a week - I want to wake up to that amazing morning-after skin EVERY DAY!

On paper this certainly looks made for me, promising to improve skin hydration, elasticity and fatigue!

The concept of mixing 2 separate formulations has been done enough times now for it not to be a unique concept, but I love that it's done effortlessly with this product. It's just a standard pump bottle, there's no faff or excessive mixing, or uneven distribution. Perfect pump every time.

It smells fresh. I wouldn't say it was overtly fragranced which I like.

It is so cooling on the skin, it feels refreshing, which after an evening shower is just lovely.

Its slightly sticky to the touch once on the skin, nothing major though and it doesn't transfer to your pillow or bedding.

This is a product where the immediate effects aren't anything to shout about. 8 hours of sleep later though, you'll wake up to incredibly soft, smooth skin that feels like you've just applied a serum!

After 3 weeks of 3 x a week use I can honestly say it is fantastic. It does what it says. Skin is more hydrated, less fatigued and firmer.

Seriously, if it was a man I would marry it!

It comes in a slick pump action pot with two separated layers that the pump ejects when you press it. It smells devine. It is like one of those products you get massaged into your face when you have a facial.

It goes on slightly tacky but not enough to annoy you or make a mess out of your pillow annndddd....

Va va va voom! in the morning your skin is plum and glowing. I love this product. I've had so many compliments on my skin since i've started using it. I've just found my new favourite product!

Tip: put it in the fridge for a superb cooling mask when you've been in the sun for too long.

I am forever trying new skin care products and was excited to be picked for this trial as I have never tried anything from Dr LeWinns range before. The packaging is great- easy to use large pump, clear container so you can see how much product you have left and visually the two tone product is nice. The pump works well and distrubutes a decent amount of product per pump- I used 2 pumps per application to cover my face and neck. The serum is thick and easy to spread, the scent is nice, refreshing but not overpowering and it sinks well into your skin. I used this product almost every second night and found that it has made my skin look really plump and hydrated which I'm very impressed with. In terms of anti-aging benefits I'd just had a botox top up when I started using this so can't say whether its made an impact there but I'm definitely happy with how my skin is looking over all.

I received this product to trial as part of the review crew. I liked the idea of the two part formulation that blends together in one pump.

When I started using it however, I actually struggled to get the clear part of the mixture to come out and took several pumps to even it out, which does concern me a little how it is going to work long term, will one side run out sooner?

The product itself has a rich, gel like consistency to it when mixed together, and I found I only required two pumps to dispense enough product to cover my face nice and evenly, so being used only 2 a week as directed, I could see this product lasting a while. It has a soft fragrance to it, which I love. Once on the face for a few minutes it becomes a little sticky but goes away within about 20 minutes.

I love the concept. However, I didn't see huge results after consistently using it for four weeks, two times a week so I will continue to use it as I do like the feel of it and believe it’s doing something perhaps its just taking longer on my 37 year old skin. I did break out the first two weeks of using it but i think that's just my skin reacting to a new product.

I definitely recommend this product and the price point is pretty good and affordable, and easy to access as sold in most pharmacies.

This formula is so beautiful on the skin. Once applied I didn't feel oily or super sticky it just sat super comfortably (no one wants to stick to their pillowslip!!!!) Leaves skin feeling insanely glow and hydrated in the morning and I definitely noticed the difference on the mornings that I had forgotten to apply it the night before. The two textures are insanely easy to use just pump and mix in the palm of your hand then apply, took no more time than a normal serum to apply. Such a beautiful product and that packaging is gorgeous. Love it and will continue to use it.

I wasn’t so sure about this product but I would purchase again. It smells yummy, is nice and creamy to apply. I have been using it every second night after my shower and finding that my skin feels hydrated come the morning.

I possibly wouldn’t go as far as saying it lifts and firms, but it definitely hydrates and brightens the skin.
