Dr Lewinn's Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Plumping Gel

This DR LEWINN'S ULTRA R4 COLLAGEN SURGE PLUMPING GEL is beautiful. My skin already feels and looks plumper and softer, it feels smooth and silky, I noticed instant results. It is super hydrating and smells lovely. The little pink beads feel so nice on my skin and I love the little silver spatula it came with. I use in the morning and again at night after cleansing. It wears really well under makeup and doesn’t flake or roll my makeup off. I will continue to use this amazing product, it really does work! My skin is glowing.

I was very lucky to be selected to trial this product as I haven’t tried Dr. Lewinn’s products before but I have heard good things about them. Thanks Beauty Review. The cream is in a glass container and is accompanied with a metal spatula that makes all look elegant. So you can use your fingers or the spatula to scoop the cream. The gel contains soft collagen pearls that gently melt and absorb on contact with the skin. It is like you are applying pink caviar into your skin (without the fish smell). I find it fun to apply the gel as you are squishing the pearls into your skin so it makes the job less boring. The product has a very light pleasant fragrance. I like that it gets absorbed very quickly and it doesn't leave a greasy feeling. I use the gel in the mornings and in the evenings. I didn’t see much of an improvement in my fine lines but my skin definitely looks better, it is not so dull looking and feels nice. I wish I had more time to test this product before writing my review so I can tell you if my lines disappear. I am planning to go on using it because I like how my skin feels and looks.

I think WOW does not begin to cover this product.

First of all the tub is very luxe looking, and I love that it comes with a small silver spatula, which makes picking up the balls and gel that they sit in super easy.

There's a slight floral scent that disappears quickly, and it didn't irritate my skin in any way.

I found the balls a touch challenging at first (dropped a few on my bathrobe) and found the best way to apply was to place a small spoonful of them in the centre of my palm then squash them, once they were squashed I rubbed the moisturiser onto my skin.

I found that my skin didn't feel super hydrated BUT it looked it. My skin looked plump, and felt soft and GLOWED. My forehead and eye lines definitely look less pronounced.

I am genuinely shocked by this product and will absolutely be repurchasing. I don't think I can live without it now.

This is one of the most unusual and fabulous products I've ever used.

When you open the jar it it looks almost like pink caviar. It's made up of little pearls.

When you spread them on your face they pop and you smooth the serum out.

My face almost instantly felt amazing! My skin felt smooth and plumped.

I'm almost obsessed with it. I can be a bit lazy applying skincare but i'm using this night and day and LOVING it.

I'd say it's not cheap but it's affordable for the results. I'll be absolutely repurchasing.

Tip: I'm going to try keeping it in the fridge over summer as I think it will be really cooling and hydrating when it's hot.

I thought I would try this as I was chosen to review it then missed out through a computer glitch. It comes in a fancy red and silver box which contains an equally fancy glass jar with a little metal spatula. The gel has tiny pink pearls which dissolve on contact with your skin, although they need to be massaged in for a few minutes. My skin felt instantly hydrated and soft, plumped and smooth. The ingredients of Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid and Neodermyl are fantastic. Quite pricey but can be bought at Chemist Warehouse about $20 cheaper. Lovely fragrance and the 30g jar will last a long time.

I picked this up in the vault, thanks BR! It is not something I would have actively sought out to buy had I not seen it in the vault....boy am I glad I got it! It comes in a beautiful red glass pot with a metallic silver lid which holds 30g of product. It comes with a tiny metal spatula which I was confused about until I opened the pot!

Inside were tiny pearls of goodness! They definitely resemble caviar. Directions say to use your fingers or use the wee spatula to scoop some out then massage into your face. The first time I tried rubbing them directly onto my face and they fell off everywhere lol so now I smush them on my hand with the back of the spatula and then pat onto my face. It has a lovely fresh scent and feels luxurious to use.

My skin feels instantly super soft and smooth! After 4 weeks of use it looks healthy, hydrated and the lines on my forehead have softened quite significantly....I wish I had of taken a before pic!  I am excited to see what happens with prolonged use. I use this both morning and night and my foundation goes on smoothly and sits well throughout the day. It absorbs well and doesn't leave your face feeling sticky, if it does then you are using too much.

I am so glad I got this and I would definitely buy it again. I have looked around and you can get it cheaper at certain places so make sure you shop around! One pot has lasted me 4 weeks but you could stretch it out if you just wanted to use it once a day.

I only tried this as it came as a free sample with an order from Chemist Warehouse. It's pricey so I probably wouldn't have bought it otherwise. I tested it over 7 days on half of my face so I could see the difference. Wow. It worked amazingly well!! I could see a huge difference in that short space of time, my lines were far less pronounced and my skin looked plumper on that half of my face. It is expensive but seeing results in such a short time means you can use it for special occasions.

I am a woman of a certain age - I'm always looking for products to add to my skincare regime and by gosh have I found one!

The Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Plumping Gel comes in a nice pottle - its quite heavy and feels like its good quality. I love that this comes with a spatula as I hate sticking my fingers into products. Even the spatula feels heavy - it's class all of the way here!

This gel is actually tiny pearls in a gel. You essentially mix the pearls and put the product on your skin that way. I cant lie - its a strange product. But oh so fabulous.

It has a light and refreshing product with a subtle fragrance. It feels cool on the skin which I really enjoy.

Over the trial period I think my skin has improved, looking and feeling more smooth and firm. I think it's evened out the tone and texture and definitely has had a positive impact on my fine lines.

I totally recommend this product - and will be looking to repurchase it.

Dr. LeWinn’s Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Plumping Gel is fabulous!

The packaging is distinctive with it's red and silver branding, but surprisingly contains a plastic pot for a higher end product. It does come with a wee metal scoop which is a hygienic way to scoop out the product and limit the amount you use. 

Inside it contains a gorgeous light gel loaded with collagen pearls that left my skin feeling really revitalised and plump. I did struggle somewhat with the pearls - they do not dissolve readily and until I got used to using the product I was left with some still on my face or even falling off. But once you massage them in, the feeling is divine. 

The creamy gel is so thick and nourishing yet glides on easily. I think I was using far too much in the first week, but it is just so lush and feels great. I started using the spatula in the second week as the pot emptied out and it was trickier to scoop up the product with my fingers, and in fact I think it is better not to use so much, I still got the same effect on my skin using half the product. 

There is only a faint scent in this product, not one I would say is lovely but not too unpleasant either. It's more of a faint smell reminiscent of old lotions from your Nana's era ;)

With only two weeks to trial this product before the review was due, I used it morning and night, and feel like my skin is more smoothed out, supple and hydrated. I look forward to continued use to see how my skin improves further. 

Would definitely buy again as the product absolutely did what it said it would. This review only lost points due to the pearls being difficult to apply and the faint scent that was not especially appealing to me.

I thought it was quite gimmicky at first, but as soon as the little pearls are mashed into the gel base, it gives my skin this really smoothing and plumping effect. It does contain dimethicone so it gives you that smooth finish, but the moisturiser certainly provides moisture and hydration because my skin feels nice and plump and soft the morning after.
