Dr Lewinns Facial Polishing Gel Review

Have been using this for years! Love the way it is scrubby without being too harsh. You can easily use this 3-4 times per week without feeling like you are overdoing it. My only qualm is with the price. I never buy it full price as I cant justify the $55 odd dollars for what it is (priceline in Aussy always have unboxed specials for approx $20 which is where I get mine from - after all who keeps a box?).

My boyfriend's sister gave this to me as a gift, as she didn't like how it felt on her skin. I had never used anything by Dr. Lewinns, so was excited to try this out.

I was a little concerned that the beads would be too rough on my face but this felt extremely cleansing and gentle on my skin. My face feels super, super clean after using this and my face is really soft.

This feels like it gives my skin a really deep clean - which I really like. It feels like all of the impurities are cleansed out, without being too rough.

The scent of this is really subtle and it doesn't irritate my dry or sensitive skin. I really like this and will be purchasing it after the tube I have runs out.

I have only recently found the dr lewinns brand and absolutely love it. I recently purchased the polishing gel and it is fantastic. My skin feels so smooth and clean after using it.

This stays in my shower and I use it twice a week. The beads are tiny tiny jojoba wax beads (which means they should break down easily and not impact the environment). The beads feel so fine and gentle on the skin. I have normal to dry skin that sometimes has a tendency to irritate but this exfoliating product doesn't dry out my skin nor does it cause any itchy rashes. It also contains camomile, which is a great soother. It is very runny so I have to be careful how hard I squeeze the tube or else there is unnecessary wastage. Rinses off the face really well leaving it feeling clean without the tightness and no residue is left behind. Not much of a smell and it goes a very long way. I would purchase this again for sure.

This is an incredible product. I use it twice a week and I've had the tube for quite some time now - a little really does go a long way, you only need a small amount for it to work. The jojoba beads are really soft, they gently exfoliate your skin - no harsh scratching or drying but still really effective, and no awful tight feeling afterwards.

I currently have this product in my shower to use and I love it. The beads inside the formulation are not scratchy like other scrubs I have used before and it does not irritate my skin.

I use it on my face and chest and found that it has really made a difference in clearing up minor blemishes that I have in that area.

My partner also uses it and he says it is great pre shaving and helps to eliminate ingrown hairs.

Overall a great all round product

Well im excited to write this review! why? because this product IS AWESOME! seriously i LOVE it so much!! its not harsh so doesnt leave our face feeling like sand paper has been rubbing on your face, the small Jojoba beads are so gentle and they kind of 'pop' on your skin while you wash. and my goodness!!! my face just feels INCREDIBLE after using this!!! wow, i really do not no what else to say, its just one of the best exfoliants i have used!

I used this product when I was looking for an exfoliator, and perhaps that was my mistake considering it is called a 'polishing gel' and not an exfoliator but I really didn't find this to be effective on my skin at all. It didn't do any damage to my skin but I don't feel that my skin was clearer, smoother or otherwise improved from using this product. It has a lovely fine texture and is nice to use but (especially considering the price) I don't believe I would consider this product again as I really want an exfoliator to leave my skin noticably smoother and clearer. I typically have a few small spots on my face at any one time, nothing horrible, but this product didn't help to keep my skin any clearer.

I purchased this while it was on special at Farmers and to be honest I probably won't purchase again.

I didn't really find that it exfoliated much, nor did it leave my skin feeling any smoother than before using it. I don't know if it's because I have oilier skin and the beads are just too small for me, but it really didn't work on my skin which is a disappointment. It would probably work better for people who have sensitive skin as it would provide exfoliation that wasn't harsh on the skin, but on me it definitely didn't work.
