I've only really used DUO glue and as a novice, it was very simple to use and made getting the lashes on (and in place) so much easier. I agree re: packaging - I find that I end up wasting far more product than I use.

I have been using Duo eyelash glue for 4-5 months now and I can say it has never let me down. This glue is super easy to use, I usually apply a small amount to a bobby pin then use that to wipe across the lash band. This glue can be used on all types of lashes, works well with really cheap lashes too. I have confidence when wearing my falsies because I know they won't fall off or loosen with this glue, love it.
Tips: Apply in thin strokes, because the glue is white it can be really noticeable if too much is used.
This has been everyones holy grail lash glue for such a long time, but now there's more on the market, we're noticing Duos flaws. The packaging is okay but I'd rather it had a wand. While this glue does keep my lashes on all day as expected, my main issue is how long it takes to dry. So once you apply to the lash, you need to wait till its tacky before applying the lash to your eye - usually these glues take around 30 seconds to get tacky. I timed this glue and I waited a whole 4 minutes... That is just a waste of time.
The only lash glue I use, its easy to use and makes lashes last for how long you need or want them on for. Time is needed for glue to get tacky before applying lashes otherwise they tend to move and become hard to apply. But once you wait a few minutes for the glue to dry a little they make applying lashes a breeze. Best glue I have found to use with individual lashes especially. No worrying about lashes falling off, they last for hours.
Tips: When using with individual lashes place a small dot of glue on a surface allow to sit for a few minutes to get tacky before dipping end of lash in and applying.
I found the duo glue, good but harder to use. As long as you wait the length of time to be tacky, this is definitely required before applying. I wonder if perhaps I hadn't learnt to apply false eyelashes with revlons eyelash glue I might have better success in using the duo. Duo does have a great stick, and is long lasting.
Tips: Definitely wait till the glue is tacky before applying
This is gentle yet strong bonding for up to 8 hours. I use it most days for my strip lashes and I never have to retouch.
This lash glue ticks most of the boxes for me except for three: scent, application method and waiting time.
I prefer to use the Duo lash glue in Dark because it looks more natural against dark lashes and there's no ugly white blobs to ruin your eye makeup you've worked so hard to perfect haha.
What I like about this glue is that it's strong enough to keep your fake lashes on until you gently pull them off without pulling out your real ones.It is tacky enough that you can pull the glue off of your fake lashes without ruining them so you reuse them. At first I scoffed at the price for this tiny tube but it lasts me for well over a year but will obviously depend on usage.
The scent seriously smells like fish which goes away once you wear your fake lashes but jeepers sometimes I wonder what other foul smelling things I'm willing to put on my face.
With the application of glue you have to squeeze the product onto the lash strip and if you're new to this you're looking at big blobs. This can lead to a bit of stinging but it's not life threatening. There is no angled tip to assist in the application you just squeeze and hope you can get a nice thin layer - if you're in a rush - forget it.
The waiting time is what probably annoys me most. Once you've applied the glue you have to wait 30 seconds or longer until the glue becomes tacky to place on your top lash line - who has 30 seconds to spare when you're in a rush? It's interesting because Ardell lash glue ticks these 3 boxes but fails to tick the others. If I had to choose I would still go with Duo because removing your lashes does not hurt with this glue.
Tips: I like to apply a thin layer to the lash strip but 2 blobs in each corner to ensure it doesn't lift.
I'm useless at putting on fake lashes so I need all the help I can get. This is incredibly longlasting and really keeps thick heavy lashes on all day. It smells quite weird when it first comes out of the tube but the smell goes away really quickly. If you are having issues getting your lashes to last, then add this to your list!
After hearing countless gurus talk about this lash glue I decided to pick it up from beautybliss. The first thing I noticed was that it wasn't the easiest to apply to the lashes. The tube squeezed out a lot of glue on my lashes which meant I couldn't use those lashes that day. I was disappointed but then used a toothpick to evenly apply the glue and it worked wonders!
I waited for the glue to get tacky (which took ages), I noticed that this one dried evenly so I wouldn't have half the lash dry and half still sticky with glue. It was super easy to apply my lashes with this glue and they lasted all through the day and night! They only came off when I wanted them to and it was super painless for my eyes. The glue was also super easy to clean off my lashes which meant I could use them more than just a few times!
I'd definitely recommend this glue to anyone starting out with false lashes as it's super easy to use and doesn't make for a messy application.
Tips: Don't apply straight from the tube
This is a very good eyelash glue I used it to adhere my eyelashes at many concerts and festivals and has not failed me. The smell not the nicest but I am not bothered by that since the actual glue itself is so good. Only wish is this stuff came in different packaging preferably a brush on one. None the less I really recommend this eyelash glue.
Tips: Apparently a dupe for Duo lashglue is the glam eyes one
