Got this for free but the price is really affordable on iherb or in stores. Packaging was average not that eye catching. The product was really nice and easy to apply and blend, didn't leave my skin looking oily and the smell wasnt over powering but wasnt a nice smell either. But it just was not for me so I gave it away to my sister. Overall it is a really nice product at a affordable price.
Great for covering anything and everything. It is a bit hard to spread and blend though with a brush, I found it easier to do this with my fingers. It lasts for hours without tainting or blotching. It's squeeze tube is great as you can get the most out it and it's opening is only a little hole so you don't get a big splurg out. For the $4 I paid for it really is a great concealer and I think could also be used as a foundation since it is full coverage.
i thought i would this concealer at 3.99 if i didnt like it i wouldnt be wasting alot of money but turns out i loved it and will be buying it again its really easy to squeeze out as much as you like and it goes on really smoothly and easy it covers all my blemishes and can build it up with out looking cakey :) will definalty be buying this again
I have used this product for quite a while now, and still find that I like it. I think that it has a pretty good texture, in the sense that it is not too oily or to drying. I use this product mostly under my eyes, as it doesn't seem to 'cake' or 'sit' in my fine lines as much as some other products do. I also find that it blends well with my natural skin colour, which is great because I find it quite hard to find products that do that. I do think that the concealer could be in a better designed tube or dispenser though, as often when I only want a little bit of product a huge amount comes out because I have to squeeze it out of the tube. This can make things a bit messy, and I hate product wastage! But overall, I think this is a good product, and does the trick well!
I like this product! Great value.
I do find it a bit dark for my skin (I use the shade porcelain). I mix in some shade adjusting drops and it works well.
I use it under my eyes and it can be a bit drying so I just pop some eye cream on underneath.
A great option if you're looking for a cheap, not tested on animals full coverage concealer.
Tips: Use it as an eyeshadow base too, there's so much in the tube you might as well.
I've been using this concealer for a few weeks now, and I must say - it's pretty good value for money! I have very dry cheeks, large pores across my nose and a slightly oily forehead, so finding a concealer that can even out my skin AND stay on all day has always been a mission!
On the whole, the e.l.f. concealer is really nice - it has a smooth, creamy consistency and doesn't go cakey when it's built up which I love! It's also really easy to apply and blend, plus it stays on my skin all day even in the heat or on a cold windy day.
It doesn't give anywhere near the same full coverage as my Thin Lizzy concealer though which is a shame. Somehow I don't think it would be able to cover tattoos effectively if my wee freckles still show through!
I also have trouble finding the right shade for my skin in the e.l.f. line - at the moment I'm using Nude which is ALMOST perfect but still slightly too pink for my yellow undertones.
Overall though it's great value for money - 20mL for such a low price!!! I'd definitely recommend it to a friend on a budget. While it's not my holy grail concealer, it is the only one I'll buy for "in the meantime" when I run out of my Thin Lizzy :)
I like the packaging, simple and easy to dispense. So much product for the price, 20mls is a huge amount of product for a concealer and is a great price. It does say it is for face and body concealing so that could be why there is a lot more product. I dont agree that it is able to cover tattoos. I find that I need to colour correct the tattoo first then I can go in with this concealer to cover. I like to use as a light coverage under eye concealer, that is very comfortable and covers well. I like to set mine with powder. I also use it to conceal discolouration on my eyelids and as an eyeshadow base. I also set it with a powder. It is a smooth consistency, not too thick and is very easy to blend. It does tend to crease after awhile which is my only con
I have been really impressed with the e.l.f Maximum Coverage Concealer! I picked it up at Kmart for a pittance and didn't expect much from it, but it's actually really impressed me. It's very generously sized, and the tube is excellently designed for only dispersing a small amount of product. I have very pale skin and I found the lightest shade was perfect for me, and even a bit lighter than my foundation (which is ideal!). It has quite a thick consistency, as suggested in the name, "Maximum Coverage", so is perfect for concealing any very dark or very red areas. You can apply this product with either a brush or using your fingertips for nice, blendable, natural-looking results. I personally would want something slightly more brightening, but this is a good product which wears well throughout the day. I also love to support affordable beauty, and also beauty which doesn't test on animals! So yay for e.l.f. in that regard.
Yet again, another good old Iherb purchase, Comes in a little handy squeezable black tube.
I have this in beige colour, which has cool/pink undertones. It has a thick creamy texture, blends out quite well and is build able if need be.
I found it covers well, but not perfect, after a few hours, it built up and sat in my under eye wrinkles, because it never dries completely it stays shiny,
Great for minimal to good coverage but wouldn't recommend if you were wanting severe coverage.
I've used it as a foundation and I think its perfect for that, it smooths out beautifully and gives even coverage, with or without a primer. Just apply a little setting powder over the top to set it.
