I was gifted this palette and was so super excited about it! However, after the first few applications I was let down because it was quite chalky and not as pigmented as I would have expected a baked palette to be.
But! I did a bit of research online and quickly learnt that because it is baked you can apply it using a wet brush and the colour becomes so much more pigmented! I tried it out and it really worked.
There is a really good range of colours which can work for either a day or night look. They are all shimmery so I prefer to use them mostly for night personally.
Overall, once I learnt how to get the most out of it, this has quickly become one of my favourite palettes and I think for the price it is definitely a good one to pick up!
I must admit, I was a bit disappointed with this palette. At first glance, the colors are gorgeous and could be worn in any occasion; a great, all-around palette. They do have shine to them ,so be warned if you're not a fan of shimmer!
However, application wasn't as smooth as I had expected. For one, the colors are not as pigmented as I'd hoped, especially the lighter colors, so it took a lot of product to get the right color on my lids. When the color was on, it seemed to crease quite quickly even when wearing primer.
It's an ok palette, especially for the price, and a good basic for those new to makeup or on a budget. But probably not something I would buy again unfortunately.
Edit: picture of the swatch Natural light, no filters, no primer but arm was slightly wet.
Edit2: tried applying it wet as recommended but it was still pretty subtle. Not too much of a difference with my palette and having to use water seemed clumsy and a bit of a hassle. However, it did make the shadow more sparkly, which is A LOT of sparkle.
