e.l.f Brow Kit Review

This Brow kit is so amazing ! , It was the first brow kit I owned and it didn't disappoint. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that is new to filling in their brows.

I want to start by saying that I already have very full, bushy brows, and if I do fill in my brows it is usually at the start where I have semi bald patches.

This is a lovely little kit, that comes in 4 different shades to match your brow colour. It’s nice sleek packaging makes it look expensive even though it was only $3. Already loving it!

There is a gel and a powder inside with a little mini brow brush. The brush is perfect to do what is required, however I find that it is a little too small to be able to work with properly. I switched it to my own eyebrow brush.

The gel is nice and creamy, and lathers on nicely, I can dip my brush in once and draw my whole brow in without having to go in for a second coat. Note that when you first open the packaging, it takes some time for your brush to work through the top layer and won’t get any product on your brush. Be patient and work at it. The gel is perfect for those who have very little brow hair and shape and want to completely shape it into something new! Highly recommend it for that. It is easy to draw and easy to blend if you make a mistake.

Then there is the powder. I love that after using the gel the powder sticks to the brush and doesn’t create a mess falling down on your face. It sticks to the brow hairs and perfectly matches, it really gives a fuller effect.

When using this, I look like Eugene Levy haha big, bold, black brows, which makes my platinum blonde hair look ridiculous. It’s not something I recommend for people who have a bold brow and only want to fill in a tiny gap. However to draw on a brow, this product is probably number 1!! I’m actually considering shaving off my brows and drawing them on with this instead!

I love love love this product to bits! I use this everyday, for a natural looking brow... With having very blonde browns (not actually being able to see them with out having tinting done) I couldn't never find a product to make them look natural. But this has and it's my go-to. Love love love!!

Love this product! One of my favourite from elf! Has a good colour range and is so great for the price! So it's also very affordable for everyone that doesn't want to spend a whole heap of money for a good product! When you can get this for the same quality but cheap! Just wish it was available more around me As I live in nz and is always sold out at the one store it's sold at.

The elf eyebrow kit in medium was my first eyebrow product I've purchased. I was amazed at how easy it was to apply. The colour was a perfect match for me and for $3 I was shocked at the quality. I have recommended this to so many people! Only downfall is it doesn't always last all day

Have just started using this product and normally use a pencil. It looks much better than pencil, great colour pigment and the consistency is easy to work with. Havent used the powder only the wax side of pallete. The light colour is great and can be built up darker if you like. The brush applicator is fine and thats what i use.

I finally succumbed to the hype on Beauty Review and bought an e.l.f Brow Kit. I bought this in the dark shade (I have dark brown hair) for only US$3 on iherb.com.

This is a great product and is a great price. The overall look with the gel and powder is really natural - and doesn't look drawn on and fake like it does when I use an eyebrow pencil. The gel is great for defining brows and also preventing the odd rogue hair from falling out of place. I find that it is easy to apply, that it lasts all day, and I don't need to do any touch-ups.

The brush is not ideal (bristles are sticking out everywhere), so will replace that with a better brush soon.

Would definitely buy again. Though it looks like this product will last a while as you only need to use a small amount of product.

This is truly my brow holy grail. For the last couple years I'd been using eyeshadow to fill them in, and I'd always wondered what the fuss was about this these brow kits which had so many great reviews on BR.. So I bought this to give it a go in the medium shade. I LOVE it!!! All it takes is a quick groom, a brush over with the pigmented wax which isn't actually as dark as it appears as a solid, it's actually the perfect tone. Then a quick sweep of the setting powder to fill in those gaps, which is also a wonderfully perfect tone of brown, goes great with my olive skin tone and bright red hair! I lastly just dab a tissue over the top to remove any excess powder and voila! I've been using this kit for 4 months now and I've only just gone through the top layer, so I imagine this will be super cost effective. If I feel like I don't want as prominent, bushy brows, I'll just use the gel on its own, and they still look amazing, dark, healthy and lush so it's like a two-in-one product too and so worth spending money on! It makes my brows looks full and natural, rather than drawn on like most pencils do. It lasts all day, through exercise and sweating, and over the weekend if I fall asleep with my makeup on, there's still a hint of tint in my brows in the morning! The packaging is small and compact, fits in any toiletry bag and feels sturdy enough like the lid won't snap off. All in all I'm very impressed with this product and will keep buying it.

im in love with my eyebrow kit bought it a month ago, I have never thought i needed it until i tried it and wow what a difference it has made i wouldnt be with it now! and the price is sooooo good highly recommend this product to anyone

I love to full my brows in with a wax. This brow kit is extremely affordable! It contains a wax and a powder in the compact along with a small brush. The wax glides on so smoothly! The powder is also great for a more natural look. However, the powders do tend to be a little bit on the warm side. Slightly to red for my liking.
