I purchased this blush in the shade "headliner" for around $6 on iherb. this blush is SUPER pigmented. This is both a positive and a negative in my view. It's good in that you only need a very tiny amount for each application- but unfortunately I find the pump packaging dispenses more than needed, so a bit goes to waste each time. Also, the high pigmentation makes very easy to overdo it and look like a clown! That being said i do love this shade, it is very pretty if applied carefully. However I am taking off a few points as I only used mine about 5 times before it wouldn't pump out any more product- I am not sure if the dispenser on mine is broken, or if i already ran out of product (it is a VERY small bottle). Either way, I would still recommend this, and i hope it's just mine that's broken!

Tips: I found the best way to apply this was to use a VERY small amount with a stippling brush, and lightly stipple it onto my cheeks, then blend out thoroughly.
I had heard this product was highly pigmented so on first application I squeezed out the amount of a pinhead, and applied with my fingers. Well, even this was too much and looked absolutely ridiculous. My second attempt was literally touching my stippling brush to the nozzle opening and gave a much nicer result. When it is successful this produces a really pretty flush. When it is not successful however... scary. On another note, this tiny container will last a lifetime even as a serial blush user.
Tips: A little goes a long way- no seriously it really does. User beware
I bought this as I was trying to step away from powder blushes and try more cream/mousse textures. This is one of the first ones I tried.
At first I found it really hard to get out of the bottle, but once it did come out, the texture wasn't runny, nor was it thick. It was a happy medium.
I applied on one side with a stippling brush, and the other with my finger just to see how easy it is to blend.
When applied with a stippling brush, the finish was really, really natural and complimented my skin tone perfectly. I used shade 'Headliner'.
The side I applied with my fingers was nice too, I just found it didn't quite have the natural finish as you would have with a brush.
I didn't need to use much, these are seriously pigmented products and a little goes a long, long way.
Tips: If the colour is too intense for you, before applying, try mixing it with a moisturizer or a highlighter.
So I haven't really been fond of Cream Blushes, basically because I barely know how to use them. I have to say though this is brilliant, I have the cream blush in Headliner and no one is kidding when they say it's super pigmented, a little goes a long way with this bad boy.
Super value for money considering how little you need to use!
Tips: If you've never used Cream Blush before, try a few different application techniques on a stay-at-home day, it can take a few attempts before you stop looking like a clown.
I found that using a cream blush made the results more long-lasting and because this blush is so pigmented, you only need the tiniest amount so even though it's a small tube, it will last a long time. Because it's a cream it may take a few tries to not go too overboard with the blush, so it's best to try it out before putting on a full face of makeup.
Tips: Use the e.l.f. stipple brush to blend the blush in
Cream blush is something which has always intimidated me, my inexperience with it had me wondering how you apply it, at what stage of makeup and how much to apply without looking like I had poured on face paint.
I picked this up during a recent eyeslipsface sale in the colour 'Headliner'. The packaging is simplistic but practical, like most of e.l.f's packaging, a clear plastic bottle with a pump top.
The formula is lovely and creamy and sooo super pigmented! My first attempt at cream blush application I looked like a child playing dress-up. Now, I know to apply this after my foundation using only the tiniest amount. I pump verrrryyy gently as I only want a small drop, and apply it to my cheeks either using my finger to dab and blend the colour or a stippling blush to blend it into my skin.
I love the matte finish of this blush, it gives a really beautiful flush of colour which lasts all day. This has won me over to the beauty of cream blush and I highly recommend this.
Tips: If you do find you've applied a tad too much blush, you can use the same brush you used to apply your foundation to help blend it in better.
I've always been a fan of a cream blush, compared to its powdery colleague it felt easier to apply, like there was less chance of getting it wrong. I use both, but I prefer the cream - and e.l.f HD Blush has to be one of the best I've tried. Considering the price the packaging is nothing to be sneezed at, it's quite stylish and doesn't look out of place amongst my higher end brands. Well, apart from the fact what it contains is bright pink! Speaking of which - what's it actually like? First of all, you want to be careful when you pump it out. I found it was hard to pump, as in, if you push down too hard a lot more than you need comes out, but if you don't push down hard then enough nothing comes out. But what does (eventually) come out is pretty amazing! My first try I ended up looking like a clown, it's THAT pigmented. But after giving it another go with a more softly-softly approach I was able to build up the colour to achieve that gorgeous 'just went for a run in winter' look, without having to go for a run. Bonus!! The cream felt quite soft, almost powdery, on application and it had really good staying power. Will I be buying again? Heck yes! Although you need so little product to achieve a blushing beauty result it might be 10 years before I need to pick up a new one!
Tips: Softly-softly! A little really does go a long way.
This blush is easy to mess up as its quite a thick formula and very pigmented, so if your heavy handed its not for you. I like to use this blush on top of a second blush just to slightly use on the high pint of my cheek bone, as if I use this alone and on the hoke cheek I feel a little clownish. But when used with another product it really gives that nice pink pop if you pop it in the write place, or nice if wearing a nice nude lippy with a pink undertone. Price wise you cant go wrong! It comes in a see threw case with a great wee pump, so you can keep on track of how much you have left and easily dispense it.
Tips: Try using it lightly on top of another blush to add just a hint of the colour.
Crazy pigmented and such a lovely pink colour (i have the headliner shade) and i will definitely be repurchasing again. Really high quality and said to be a dupe for the Makeup Forever HD blushes. Overall extremely worth the price, super affordable and a little goes a really long way.
Tips: apply a very small half pump to you fingers and dab the product onto cheeks then use a stippling brush to blend it through, creates a natural pinky flush to the cheeks.
I got this on sale at kmart, and i did not have experience with cream blushes..wow this product is very very pigmented. I swatched it on my arm and it took aggges to get it off, and my arm looked red/pink for days. you di not need alot to get a nice finish.
