I wasnt really a fan of this mascara, as i felt it did not lengthen or define my lashes. the formula was okay but i found that wen i tried to layer it it got quite clumpy and did not look good.

The mascara was limp and the brush felt really hard and scratchy, it separated my lashes but failed on everything from there in. It dried fast but make my eyelashes feel like they had cement on them, It was cheap and maybe if I was a kid trying out makeup it would be ok but not as an adult.
I picked this up from Kmart a while ago on holiday, after hearing good things about it from one of my favourite youtubers. It's average for the price, but I wouldn't really recommend it as it doesn't go above and beyond any of my mascaras at a similar price.
This comes in a black plastic tube, basic packaging and what I would expect at a price point of $5. The wand is a basic spiral bristly wand, which isn't my idea wand, however it doesn't do too much of a bad job separating and defining lashes. The formula is not thin or thick, rather average, and I found my mascara didn't dry up fast like a lot of reviews claim. However, I don't get why this is called a lengthening mascara - it only really lengthens my lashes when I layer it up and that causes my lashes to become thick and clumpy. This is a good mascara if you're going for a natural look though, and it lasts an average amount of time with minimal transferring on my oily eyelids.
Overall, I wouldn't really recommend picking this up, despite the cheap price tag you can easily find mascaras for two or three times the price that are miles better. I didn't find it too bad, but it's not impressive either.
I love all elf products until i wasted my money on this. There was hardly any product. Its clumpy and barely makes my lashes any different. I took it back to kmart thinking i had brought a faulty one. Apparently not, do not buy :(
It's taken me a while to write this review because I prefer to write more positive reviews. Unfortunately this product didn't lend itself to positivity.
I got this from a well intentioned family member as part of a cosmetic gift hamper. However the product inside was clumpy and pretty much unusable. Out of interest I checked the date on it... and I think it had been sitting on the Kmart shelf for a while.
So I personally would not recommend as it definitely didn't live up to it's claims or even really perform as a mascara.
Yikes. I usually am not one to write bad reviews, and I feel bad about doing so, but seriously don't bother with this product. I have never had a mascara clump more in my life, it made my eyelashes look cakey and blunt? Throughout the day it would flake off and leave black dots all under my eye. The wand it just an average and kind of spikey and though cheap, there are many other mascaras almost as cheap that are much better. I usually love e.l.f and its value for money, but this mascara is definitely a miss.
Tips: Maybe try using a different spoolie with this product or leave the sealed bottle in some warm water to try and thin the product out a bit before use?
As seems usual with me when doing an iherb order I always have a quick look around the elf section. The makeup is just so cheap! I love trying new things so a couple of dollars here and there for the chance to find an awesome product isn't that bad! It is like the makeup lovers gambling.
The packaging of this mascara is lovely. Super nice for travelling as it is long and thin. The tube is just round and shiny black plastic. The name is in silver on the side but I'm sure that will rub off with a few uses, but that is no big deal for me.
The wand is fibres in a swirl. Not great for adding volume, but this doesn't advertise itself on that. The formula is incredibly thick and dry. This does what it says in the defining feature. It separated my lashes nicely, but the formula isn't particularly black so they just look extremely natural. As for lengthening... not really. This mascara creates incredibly natural lashes, to the degree where you wonder why you are wearing mascara at all. This wears all day and does smudge a wee bit by the end of the day, but is easy to remove.
Really this mascara doesn't do much for me at all. It may be cheap, but it doesn't do much for even the little amount of money you spend on it.
This mascara aren't a good mascara. It doesn't lengthen my eyelashes like it states it would. Though I love elf products this one was a huge miss.
