e.l.f Liquid Eyeliner Review

I'm really impressed by these liquid liners, well the black one anyway! I have had the glitter ones before as well and while they look so pretty over top of the black line, they dried out so quickly so I wouldn't bother with those again.

Packaging is nice and simple. It's a decent pack size and the lid does up securely so you don't have to worry about leakage problems.

The brush tip is quite long and very fine so I find it easy to get a very thin line close to my lash line or I can thicken it up if I want to be more dramatic. The actual formula is reasonably dark, it's not the most pigmented liner ever but for a low end brand, it's really great. It's also quite a liquidy liner (well duh right!), but I find it really easy to apply and it also dries quick so won't smudge. On my lids this will last all day which is awesome and to make things even better, it's really easy to remove with makeup wipes.

I'm not totally sure if it would be the best liner for total beginners but it is pretty easy to use and so cheap to pick up.

I already have backups for this so would definitely buy again. I'm thinking about trying out some of the other colours too, like maybe purple or navy.

I have been on the hunt for a good black liquid eyeliner for a while and purchased this just to practice and have found I can't reach away from this product.

Firstly, I purchased this product due to all the hype about it and have found that it truely is worth it.

Now the packaging is lovely as you can seal it properly so the product lasts longer than other companies. The brush is perfect as the tip has a very fine point which makes the application easier and more precious. The formula is very black which I love as it means you don't have to layer it and I have found that it lasts all day.

This is definitely my holy grail liquid eyeliner.

The E.L.F liquid liner is a great product! Its not my favourite, but its good! Its affordable, Its true to colour, I find some liners say its black and its more on the grey side.

The packaging is nice and simple, the applicator is nice, its quite thin so its perfect to just line the tops of your lids!

It stays on all day and comes off really easy, sometimes I find other liners can really stick into your lashes!

Its a must have for any makeup hoarder :P

I have this eye liner in black and it is definitely my go to liner. It is easy to apply, either thick or thin and has a nice strong colour to it. I also find it doesn't end up rubbing off onto the rest of my eyelid like some of my other liners do. Plus the price makes it so affordable!

I had heard about this eyeliner being raves about so I went out and brought myself some. The brush is amazing really good for getting the line that I want. But once I've put the eyeliner on, it goes patchy and all weird. Some parts are darker. I'm not sure if it's something Im doing

I'm not a huge fan of liquid eyeliner and the reason is that I'm not good at applying eyeliner. The reason I purchased this eyeliner was because it was cheap, but promised that it would give precision upon application and be dramatic on eyes.... Lies!

Firstly the quality of the eyeliner is like water. Its so running and when you apply it onto your eye its not black at all. Because its a watery consistency, the application gives a sheer line which needs millions of more application to have an opaque line.

That tip... Dreadful! I cannot get precise application and the tip is so weak and more like a paintbrush than a makeup brush. I much prefer a shorter condense brush for more control over the long brush that comes with this eyeliner.

This eyeliner doesnt get any love from me and I'm scared to pass it along to anybody else in fear that they will hate it.

I like to use this when I'm in a rush because it's so sheer and mistakes are very forgiving. It's buildable! It is extremely thin and watery so I wouldn't recommend it for people who want an intense eye look. For the price it's pretty good. I wouldn't buy it in Kmart though because they will sell it for more than it's worth but I would definitely purchase again if I see it for 1USD.

i absolutely would NOT recommend this liner. i purchased it because it was cheap, and swatched alright on my hand. When i went to use it on my eyes, the consistency was very runny and sheer. I had to build it up with many coats to get the opaque black i was after. When i took my makeup off that night my eyes were stinging, and where i had applied the liner, was now all red. Almost like i had applied red liquid liner! It hurt so much, so i threw it out.

I tried out the e.l.f liquid eyeliner recently to practice doing my winged eyeliner. The packaging is nice, it comes with a small applicator brush to apply it with. When I applied this to my eye lid the I found I had to paint on quite a few layers to make it look good, the little brush was very hard to apply it with and I kept smudging the eyeliner. I also found this eye liner really hard to remove even when using makeup wipes or remover it seemed to stain the skin around my eyes. I think this eyeliner is okay for the price, but I will not be repurchasing as it was to fiddly to use.

I bought this liquid eyeliner a while ago and have probably only used it two or three times in the 6 months or so that I have had it.

The worst thing about this lliner in my opinion is the brush, it's really hard to get a nice line because the brush is too long and thin. It bends too much when applying so it is almost impossible to get a nice clean line.

It is long lasting and smudge proof so if you apply it and don't do a fantastic job, it's best to get a cotton bud onto it quickly before it sets.

I think the pigmentation is dark enough, the only reason I have had to go over my application is because the brush is too thin so the line isn't bold enough. I counteract this by using my eyeliner brush to sweep it along and make a thicker line as soon as I have applied it.

For the price the product is actually pretty good; I wouldn't expect top of the line quality at this price.
