I'm not a huge fan of liquid eyeliner and the reason is that I'm not good at applying eyeliner. The reason I purchased this eyeliner was because it was cheap, but promised that it would give precision upon application and be dramatic on eyes.... Lies!
Firstly the quality of the eyeliner is like water. Its so running and when you apply it onto your eye its not black at all. Because its a watery consistency, the application gives a sheer line which needs millions of more application to have an opaque line.
That tip... Dreadful! I cannot get precise application and the tip is so weak and more like a paintbrush than a makeup brush. I much prefer a shorter condense brush for more control over the long brush that comes with this eyeliner.
This eyeliner doesnt get any love from me and I'm scared to pass it along to anybody else in fear that they will hate it.
I bought this for like, $3 or $5 on iherb. I'm not big on liquid eyeliner, or eyeliner at all because I'm such a special person when it comes to something so delicate like this.
I like the look of the bottle. It's nice. Black, sleek, and just appealing. The brush and handle sits in the hand nicely for easy application. However, that's where the good stops for me.
Managed to put some on my eyelid, but as I said, I'm not very good so obviously its not perfect, and I'm just playing around with it. Then I feel a burning sensation and I look at my eye - its completely black, including the white of my eye. Somehow, this wonderful product has slipped through my lashes and into my eyeball, making me look like some creature you'd find in a video game. And this was just with one or two flicks after I wiped the brush on the bottle.
So I'm standing in my bathroom mirror, admiring my new eye, because lets face it, it looks pretty cool, but can't be that good for the eye. I get some jojoba oil on some toilet paper to wipe the eyeliner off and I rinse my eye and blink furiously to get the black ink out. The eyeliner came off easily enough but I looked like I had raccoon eyes for the first few wipes of the oil.
Overall, I wouldn't purchase again. I may use it again just to play around but I don't really think my eyes appreciated their mini makeover, so maybe not!
