e.l.f Liquid Eyeliner Review

This product is a really good price and the quality is pretty good as well.

The black liner itself is really pigmented and leaves a lovely smooth black line which lasts me all night (don't have any worries about it rubbing off). It is also really easy to get off at the end of the night which is great for me because I have quite sensitive eyes.

The brush started off lovely and fine tipped, but after a couple of uses some of the bristles started to stick out at odd angles. This made applying a fine line very difficult because these little bristles left black marks on my lids.

I think this liquid eyeliner is great for anyone who is trialling how they like liquid eyeliner, but since I found the brush didn't stay fine like it should of, I wouldn't call this my holy grail.

I picked this liner up for three dollars on i herb and I have to say for the price its proven to be a great purchase! The packaging is nice and sleek and it has a long handle on the applicator so easy to control when applying.

Now, if you like thick liquid eyeliner thats super pigmented and are not so fussed if the applicator is a bit bigger then i would direct you to the studio precision eyeliner in the e.l.f range. But! If you are all about the applicator brush being teeny and precise and are wanting a thin line then this one is great for you!

The brush on this liquid eyeliner is one of the best i've seen around, its super fine and allows you to be very precise. I do however find that the formula is a lot thinner so it takes a couple of coats to build up the opacity if you are wanting to do a thicker line.However, I tend to use this liner for an everyday look so the formula doesn't bother me that much.

This liner is very affordable and I would recommend it to anyone who is after a super fine brush!

Elf eyeliner is awesome I picked it up for $1 at eyeslipsface.com during their half price sale! I use this liner to create the perfect winged liner look! The product glides on smooth and does not need to be re applied! The liner does not have a noticeable fragrance which I like as this can be quite off putting.

I would recommend this eyeliner for anyone on a budget looking to pick up a good quality product! The bottle is rather small but tends to last a while and for $1 I am not complaining!

I recently bought this accidently in the shade "Midnight" at my local Kmart.. and even though I thought I was getting a black liner (obviously wasn't looking that well) and getting over the initial disappointment of a navy liner.. I was thoroughly impressed.

The applicator is nice and fine, sturdy and strong, so gives a perfect thin line. The product itself is quite fluid. Not as thick as some liners that I've used but it gives a good coverage and doesn't need to be layered again and again to get the density of colour you want.

I would definitely buy this product again, I've actually just purchased a Black one off iHerb and can't wait for it to arrive.

I didn't have a lot of experience with liquid eyeliner before buying this. I thought I would buy a nice cheap one to practice with and then buy a better one. But actually - I'm really happy with this one and have just purchased a few from ELF in their sale so I never run out!

I like the packaging, it's basic - but it's sleek. The brush is thin and creates a good line, it's easy to get close to the lashes and build up to the thickness that you want. The formula is smooth and one sweep is enough to create an opaque line, it dries quickly and has great staying power.

I'm still playing around and figuring out what I like, but it's so cheap that you can practice without feeling like you are wasting it.

I am a massive self-confessed fan of ELF. I love a lot of their products and had heard great things about this, so decided to give it a go.

Like a lot of their other products, the packaging on this is functional, sleek and looks more expensive than it actually is. This doesn't feel cheaply made or fragile and it travels well.

The tip of the brush is super fine - which I love, as you can make your eyeliner as thick or thin as you desire. I find this easy to use and it doesn't tug along your eye or leave nasty, watery streaks. The product is fairly pigmented and it is semi-smudge proof.

This dries to a semi-gloss finish, doesn't have a scent and nor does it irritate my eyes like some other eyeliners do.

As to be expected, this isn't as smudge proof or pigmented as some other, more expensive brands of eyeliner are. However - for the price I think this is an absolute steal and I am guilty of having 2 of these as backups...

I've never been one to use liquid eyeliner as A) I cant draw straight lines and B) the liquid always gets in my eyes and hurts! So I bought this one as a cheat trial, and its fantastic! It has a super fine tip (perhaps too fine for me sometimes, so I need multiple layers) and excellent pigment. It also dries quickly and I haven't had any problems with creasing or smudging (with a good primer base). And no sensitivity problems! Would definitely reccommend!

Before buying this product, I had very little experience with liquid eyeliner. But this little guy here helped me so much!

I found the brush very thin and very flexible, which for me, made it a lot easier to create a nice thin and sleek line on the top of my lash line! The brush also made it very easy to create a nice precise wing!

The formula is very nice, quite thin and very black. Although after a while I tend to find, the formula does not come across very opaque and can dry up quite easily which is a bit of a bummer.

I love the packaging! It is very sleek and simple, and in any way does not look cheap or tacky. It is handy for travelling as it is quite small and simple to pack away!

Although it isn't smudge proof, it has great staying power and is my number one pick for any liquid eyeliner day!

I will continue to purchase this :-)

I don't use gel liners alot but when I do I generally mess it up! This is a decent liquid but I find the brush is quite difficult to use. Probably best for profesh MUA or someone with a bit more XP than me :P

Wow is what I can say. I purchased this from Miss A for $1 and can say it is well worth more =). The packaging is plain white with silver elf writing which gives it the simple yet classy appearance and it comes in a nice black bottle no higher than 15cm. It is slightly curved getting thinner at the top where you hold it so its easy to hold. The consistency of this is a smooth deep black and doesn't get caught on the eyelids like other brands. The brush glides smoothly and is wet so depending on the angle you turn the brush the thicker the line it can create. Once applied this product lasted me all day from 8am-8pm with only a small touch up in the corner of my eyes. You only need a very small amount of this as it is a very dark black liner(midnight black) The result of this product on my eyes left a very clean and sophisticated look but you must ensure you have a steady hand when applying. I would highly recommend this to others as its affordable and leaves a really good result
