I like to use this when I'm in a rush because it's so sheer and mistakes are very forgiving. It's buildable! It is extremely thin and watery so I wouldn't recommend it for people who want an intense eye look. For the price it's pretty good. I wouldn't buy it in Kmart though because they will sell it for more than it's worth but I would definitely purchase again if I see it for 1USD.

Tips: Go over it again if you want a bolder line.
i absolutely would NOT recommend this liner. i purchased it because it was cheap, and swatched alright on my hand. When i went to use it on my eyes, the consistency was very runny and sheer. I had to build it up with many coats to get the opaque black i was after. When i took my makeup off that night my eyes were stinging, and where i had applied the liner, was now all red. Almost like i had applied red liquid liner! It hurt so much, so i threw it out.
Tips: I would avoid this product!
I tried out the e.l.f liquid eyeliner recently to practice doing my winged eyeliner. The packaging is nice, it comes with a small applicator brush to apply it with. When I applied this to my eye lid the I found I had to paint on quite a few layers to make it look good, the little brush was very hard to apply it with and I kept smudging the eyeliner. I also found this eye liner really hard to remove even when using makeup wipes or remover it seemed to stain the skin around my eyes. I think this eyeliner is okay for the price, but I will not be repurchasing as it was to fiddly to use.
I bought this liquid eyeliner a while ago and have probably only used it two or three times in the 6 months or so that I have had it.
The worst thing about this lliner in my opinion is the brush, it's really hard to get a nice line because the brush is too long and thin. It bends too much when applying so it is almost impossible to get a nice clean line.
It is long lasting and smudge proof so if you apply it and don't do a fantastic job, it's best to get a cotton bud onto it quickly before it sets.
I think the pigmentation is dark enough, the only reason I have had to go over my application is because the brush is too thin so the line isn't bold enough. I counteract this by using my eyeliner brush to sweep it along and make a thicker line as soon as I have applied it.
For the price the product is actually pretty good; I wouldn't expect top of the line quality at this price.
Tips: Have a cotton bud or eyeliner smudger/brush on hand to smudge the line along and make it thicker and neater.
I will put a disclaimer here - using this eyeliner was the first time I have used a liquid liner, however I have repeatedly used it to practice but I still found it temperamental. When I first used it I found it very hard to get the coverage I wanted. I like a nice solid dark line, this came out really faded so I had to go over it a few times to get what I wanted. The next time I tried it, the liner was so liquidy it bled, so I looked like I had tried some terrible halloween make-up or something. The good thing was though - it was finally dark enough. Now when I do use it I ensure I have something on hand to wipe up any "bleed" straight away. I'm not so sure I would buy this again. If you're after a cheap fix then this is it, but if you're after a good quality flawless liner then this is not for you.
Tips: Have a make-up wipe or tissue nearby in case it runs.
I picked this up from Kmart after hearing my sister rant and rave about its brilliance and after using it for the past month I've got to say I'm impressed! I have tried so many different eyeliners its ridiculous - from high end to low end I've spent hundreds on my daily staple product.
This eye liner I think would be great for beginners as it glides along easily over the lashline and the brush shape makes defining a winged shape nice and easy. I find I get a much smoother look if I clear as mush excessive off the brush as possible before applying otherwise it tends to get a bit thick. This is a fantastic product and for the price of it I'll definitely be using this again!
I purchased this as I was starting out with liquid eyeliner and didn't want to spend heaps of money on something. I was quite surprised by this product, it is pigmented, definitely long lasting and doesn't smudge. Only negative thing for me was that after wearing it a few times, I got an allergic reaction which made my eyes really itchy. If it wasn't for that, I would definitely reuse this!
I am not a fan of this elf liquid eyeliner, although it was a thin consistency it was easy to apply. The applicator is a small brush and is easy to brush on the lid but it claims to be smudge-proof and rich in colour which is not true as i had trouble with it smudging and getting it really black, i needed to keep brushing over the line at least three times and even then it wasn't really black enough. Packaging is really simple. Price wise it was really good it only cost me two or three dollars off iherb so i wasn't expecting much and i ended up using it to try get better at my wings! so even though i wasn't a big fan of it , i still used it up! I wouldn't recommend to a friend as i think there are way better liquid eyeliners.
This eyeliner is so affordable and such a good product. It's basically the only liquid eyeliner I use. It takes some work to get it perfectly long-lasting but I mean, it costs like $10 so what can you expect really.
The tip is perfect for getting a nice flick at the end of your eye.
The formula though is a bit watery and because of this it can sometimes be a bit streaky.
It dries to a really nice finish - not matte but not glossy either.
Tips: To avoid streakiness shake the bottle before use. Apply one line then let it dry then apply another or your product will run. Also always apply an eye primer and apply your eyeliner before eyeshadow then once you've finished your eyeshadow go back in with one more layer of eyeliner.
I'm not a huge fan of liquid eyeliner and the reason is that I'm not good at applying eyeliner. The reason I purchased this eyeliner was because it was cheap, but promised that it would give precision upon application and be dramatic on eyes.... Lies!
Firstly the quality of the eyeliner is like water. Its so running and when you apply it onto your eye its not black at all. Because its a watery consistency, the application gives a sheer line which needs millions of more application to have an opaque line.
That tip... Dreadful! I cannot get precise application and the tip is so weak and more like a paintbrush than a makeup brush. I much prefer a shorter condense brush for more control over the long brush that comes with this eyeliner.
This eyeliner doesnt get any love from me and I'm scared to pass it along to anybody else in fear that they will hate it.
Tips: Spend alitte extra on a decent quality eyeliner.
