Do not buy. This product is horrendous. Its thick, its sticky and it is literally a lipgloss. It is easy to apply but the little brush on it seems pretty unhygienic to me. I like cleaning my products but the brush on this doesn't look like i could wash it in warm soapy water or wipe it down. Mine, for some odd reason, smells minty. Is this normal? I dont want to wear this product out of the house and have people associate me with toothpaste. Not much was needed to get a desired coverage. Like one click, maybe two. Which i guess is pretty convenient since you do have to turn it for any product to come out so you control whether you prefer one or two or more clicks. I wouldn't recommend or use again. I don't like lipglosses though.

Tips: Only use if you like lipglosses,
I have the shade Pink Lemonade. I like this as a lip gloss but it's definitely not a lipstick. The texture is thick and quite gooey but not unpleasant for casual use as a lip gloss. The applicator is easy to use, the colour is slick and natural-looking and the flavour/smell is minty, which appeals. In my opinion, this should be re-labelled as a lip gloss so consumers know what to expect. Other than that, I might repurchase - I like keeping this in my handbag as emergency dash of moisture/colour.
I have to admit that I'm usually a fan of elf products but this one didn't quite hit the mark for me.
The first thing you notice is that unlike traditional lipsticks, this product is a liquid that is forced up through a sponge applicator at the top of the lipstick by turning the base of the lipstick container. This allows you to dispense just the right amount of liquid lipstick for your needs.
The sponge applicator actually felt quite nice on my lips but I didn't feel that it gave me much precision in the application of the lipstick. Then again, the application didn't need to be terribly accurate as this product is more like a tinted lipgloss than a lipstick, only giving a light show of colour to your lips - more like a light tint than a full cover.
I noticed that although the lipstick goes on quite easily, it became very sticky and tacky once on my lips. I felt as if my lips were always sticking together and my hair seemed to be uncontrollably drawn to my face, sticking itself to my lips every time I moved.
It also tastes quite strongly of mint, which is a bit unusual, but not exactly unpleasant, though it did leave my lips feeling quite cold.
If you're looking for a cheap, light, glossy lipcover and don't mind a bit of stickiness, then I'd say this would be worth a try, but if you're looking for a full coverage lipstick, I'd probably look elsewhere.
Tips: Only turn the mechanism until the product starts to appear in the applicator. Its easy to turn too far and have too much product come out.
First off this is definitely not a liquid lipstick. It is actually a gloss so I do not know why they market it as a liquid lipstick. As a gloss it is decent and a good dupe for the Sila Lip glazes I believe. It does have a medicated tingly feel and has a weird scent that I'm not really sure about. However for the price it alright and would recommend if you like lipgloss.
Tips: I buy all my elf products from iherb.com and it is a lot cheaper
If you are after a gloss at an affordable price then you have found one!
I am definitely not a lipgloss girl. I could talk about lipstick all day everyday but I just don't go anywhere near lipgloss which is why I was rather disappointed with this product and it's false labelling.
However, as a gloss, this is pretty good. I received this as a gift from a friend and I use it a fair bit as it was nice to do something a little different.
Would I buy another? Probably not. Not because it was a bad product but just because I am simply not someone that goes nuts for gloss. Sorry Elf, I love you guys!
Despite this product being called a lipstick; it feels and looks more like a gloss, but apart from this difference between what they made it to be and what I feel it is. It's handy to have; I have two different shades which are beautiful! The colours are more foucsed on nude shades and I love using mine as a gloss shine over top of my lipsticks. The only problem I found with it was when I first used it, the turning device at the bottom can be tough at first use. I have worn it alone, but I found the colour doesn't last as long as I thought it would, 2 hours and there is no colour left (this is without a base lipstick).
I do like the product but all in all its average at best.
Tips: Liquid not a soild, when turning the mechanisim on turn it twice when first using the product but every time after that only ONCE otherwise the liquid will just come pouring out and you will be left with a sticky mess!!
I have this in nude pink. It comes in a funky pen style applicator with a sponge tip that is very easy to use. When you need more product all you have to do is twist the applicator slightly and more is dispensed, it's easy to see how much is coming out so you don't have to worry about ending up with too much product.
The coverage is very very sheer, so the claim of it being highly pigmented and long lasting is just not correct. Having said that, it does leave your lips feeling hydrated, with a lovely pale pink sheen too them. It tastes slightly coconuty too.
They don't last all that long as there's not a huge amount of product in them, but they're only $1.99 on iHerb, so entirely affordable. I'll be getting more with my next order.
Note it's definitely not a lip stick, it's a lip gloss not matter how they market it.
Tips: Don't twist the tube too quickly or you will end up wasting the gloss that comes out.
These liquid lipsticks are more like lip glosses than lipsticks. They are sticky and they smell very minty. I don't mine month smells but these smell too strong. They aren't too pigmented and are very shimmer. For the price their not bad. I purchased them for one dollar at shopmissa
I really like the packaging of this lip gloss pen it's clean & stylish, you can see how much is in it and the twist end allows you to distribute however much you need for each application. This lipgloss is scentless and has quite a pigmented tint of color that stains the lips slightly. The consistency is fair but average, just a little bit sticky but moisturizes and stays on well. Overall i like it and for $2.12 from iherb can't complain.
I purchased two of these last week from K'Mart because they were selling at $5 a piece. I was a little disappointed because it hardly looks like any colour transferred to my lips, in fact they may as well have been clear lip glosses. On the bright side though you get a little sponge which you fill with the product (has a winding up mechanism) and it feels quite nice going on the lips. I felt a little tingle which I am assuming are the moisturisers going to work. Your lips feel lovely and moisturised and it seems to last a few hours. Has a slight menthol smell which I don't mind at all and had no reaction. Of the selection available I purchased Pink Slipper and Pink Lemonade because they were the ones that had the most red pigments. If you want a lippy that offers a little more hydration power than an ordinary lipgloss then give this one a go.
Tips: Upon opening the package and using for the first time you feel like you your winding and winding but nothing is happening but don't give up, it just takes a few good turns before it is ready to use.
