When I first heard about this product I was really excited to try it. I read the back of the label and thought - perfect! But then I got called away so put it back. When I came back to the shelf later that day I picked up the product, paid for it and came home only to see that I had accidentally bought the brush cleaning solution instead. The packaging is exactly the same for both. That frustrated me but as the product was so well priced I decided I would still purchase the setting spray. When I used it, it felt fresh and nice on my face but it didn't really keep my make up in place. It was refreshing but that is about it. Unfortunate.

Tips: If you do decide to buy this product, check the label carefully as it is in the same packaging as another one of Elf's products.
This is a rather watery setting spray. Gives my make up an oily look after setting my powder. Wouldn't buy again.
A little disappointed in this setting spray. The packaging is terrible and the spray nozzle (on mine anyway) was a dud and did not spray evenly - it came in more of a stream than a mist and made me flinch when it'd hit my face and made me very wet in places. A few times it has made my face so wet my liquid eyeliner and mascara starts to run - kind of defeats the purpose in the spray in the first place!!! When the spray sets it feels a bit sticky and dewy and I would prefer a dry, matte finish. I guess even with the spray problem, it did do it's job and helped keep my make up fresh for longer, especially in these hot sweaty summer months. It's put me off and I will not be purchasing it again.
This was the first setting spray that I ever purchased, and I really wanted to love it. Unfortunately I found that it didn't do anything for me.
I bought this for about $10 from Kmart. The packaging looks and feels quite cheap as it is made from thin plastic, but it is a budget brand so I guess that's to be expected. The spray has a sort of fresh cucumber smell, but I didn't really like it.
The spray is very wet. Even if you only apply a little bit, it really soaks your face. I also found that the nozzle didn't evenly spray the liquid onto my face. Some places on my face would still be dry, while other parts would have large water droplets. However the wetness of this product did remove any 'cakeyness' on my face. The finish of this product is dewy, but it can also leave you looking a bit greasy if you have oily skin like me. If you're looking for a setting spray that leaves you looking matte, then this isn't the product for you.
I didn't find that this product helped to set my makeup or make it last longer, which was the reason I purchased it in the first place. I continued to use this spray for a month, but it ended up leaking in my makeup bag so I chucked it out. I definitely wouldn't repurchase it.
as soon as i put this on i feel like my whole face is slipping off and it made my face itch, i really didn't like the smell. i will be sticking to hair spay from now on haha
Personally I love Elf products however this setting spray was a bit of a let down. The spray had no smell and once applied my face was soooo WET! and to be honest I didn't notice much difference in how long my makeup lasted. Probably wouldn't buy again but if you need a cheap setting spray you could buy this one.
Maybe mine was a dud? When spaying upon my face it just felt like water, no hardening or sticky-ness like any other type or setting sprays. Another time I shook it and then sprayed to see if it would make a difference but no it still felt like I was spritzing water onto my face :(
I was looking for a setting spray as I hadn't used one before and since e.l.f is such a reliable and affordable brand I thought I'd I've their Mist and Set a nudge.
I think I would have had more luck putting water from a tap into the bottle for all the good it did.
I honestly don't know what it's meant to do. It didn't set my makeup, at all, it didn't do anything except make my face wet, and I didn't even use a lot.
So needless to say, this wasn't my favourite purchase, and it certainly won't be going on my repurchase list anytime soon.
Oh dear. This product is just a bit of a flop for me.
Firstly, I just can't get past the smell. It smells like old socks, smelly feet, a blocked drain. Take your pick! It's definitely not the nicest or freshest way to finish your lovely makeup face first thing in the morning.
Secondly, it doesn't actually do very much in the way of setting makeup. I don't find that I get more staying power or longevity out of my makeup when using this, so I can't even forgive the rancid smell in the name of beauty.
The bottle is very small (smaller than I expected), but it's also very affordable, as all ELF products are.
This one's a no from me. I'll save my pennies for something a bit nicer smelling!
i'm a huge elf supporter and find their products amaze for their price but was sadly dissapointed in this, on my skin it just felt like spraying water on my face. the lasting power just wasn't there. the price is good, but still not worth it. i have my Catherine H that i would defiantly grab for first
