e.l.f Studio Acne Fighting Foundation Review

Love this foundation! Medium - full coverage which I was expecting due to it being an acne foundation. It covers all my redness (with help from green concealer) but still looks lovely on the skin. Haven't noticed it 'fighting' any acne at all but I don't care about that. Extremely recommend this foundation! I will be re-purchasing and re-purchasing. Also, Shaaanxo did a first impression of this product which you should all check out because its exactly how this works!

This is one of my newest additions to foundations in the last few months and it's definitely a great one that I use if not using bb cream, with a primer, then foundation, powder and setting spray it seems to last all day and covers blemishes. Doesn't give me breaks out like a lot of foundations do while it's on my face and comes off nicely too, anything that lasts when I mow the lawns in hot weather gets my approval at the end of the day lol.

I think E.L.F has definitely raised the bar with this as it's a full converge that leaves my face looking flawless but not cakey. It feels very light on the face and blends really nicely. It has a great lasting power and I find that after about 6 hours of wear it could probably do with a touch up due to my oily skin. I also find that this foundation doesn't cause me to break out or anything :)

First of all my skin type is combination and I do get acne around my neck and jaw line.

This product had been reviewed by a beauty blogger that I follow so I thought I’d give it a try. Purchased from Kmart The packaging is actually not bad for a cheap product. The formula is in a plastic bottle with a twist top lid, Comes in a 36ml bottle so easy to put in your makeup bag. The formula is quite runny so be careful when opening. I applied over top of a concealer with no problems of becoming patchy (making sure the the main ingredients of both products are the same). The application is very easy with any brush or sponge, Ive used both at times. The consistency is light but gives a really good coverage if your trying to cover blemishes. I was very happy with the amount it covered as I am very self conscious of my skin. I used the colour beige in the summer as my skin goes very tan and then in the winter I used a lighter porcelain. The product is cheap enough to have a few shades on hand.

Overall great product, no complaints.

I will say before I write much more that I don't suffer from Acne but after hearing great reviews from friends I decided this was worth grabbing as its so affordable and I love it. I love how this foundation just glides on and such a little amount gives such a good coverage. I would say medium to full coverage. the lasting power on this foundation is awesome I wore it for a good 8 hour day and gym ontop of that and got home and it was still looking great. overall I think this is deffinatly worth a shot and for the price you cant go wrong.

What can I say, expect this foundation is fabulous!! I saw this on Shaaanxo's youtube (I hope I spelt it right!) and just knew I had to try it out for myself.

Provides flawless full courage like I've never experienced before in a foundation. And finally a colour that actually exactly matches my skin! It's like a match made in heaven (I'm using the shade porcelain). I have really bad acne on my chin at the moment as well as redness so it's really hard to cover but this makes my skin look great, you wouldn't even know I have problem skin. It's the raised bumps giving it away.

The bottle is way smaller than I expected it to be but you only need a little bit anyway because it's spreads out real easily. The texture is thick and creamy and is completely build-able, I found that if I'm having a bad skin day I'll add a bit more courage but It doesn't make me look cakey or fake.

When I first used It I did feel a slight tingle because of the tree tea I'm guessing but I don't feel that anymore.

It's called acne fighting so I'd expect it to help my acne and it does have some good ingredients but it doesn't help heal my acne whatsoever. But then I don't exactly mind that because it covers so well and just knowing that has those ingredients in there anyway is a big plus so it's not going to make my skin any worse.

It's easy to get the product out too :) Almost forgot, this lasts all day, but if I'm touching my face alot like I have a cold or something it will wear. It always transfers to my clothes a bit if not careful! (that's why I get fully dressed before doing my make-up).

Purchased this in the shade Buff from the ELF website, unfortunately the colour s a bit too dark for me so would be more of a summer/self-tan colour. Apart from that I was very impressed with the coverage and the fact that a little goes such a long way. I do not have acne prone skin but I prefer a high coverage due to redness/freckles and found I only needed one layer to hide all my imperfections
