I love this lip scrubs, the sugar particles are gentle and small but still exfoliate the lips so well. I usually use the Fenty lip scrub because I love the applicator I don't particularly like the potted lip scrubs I just find them a bit more of a hassle and messy. Elfs lip scrub is so much better than the Fenty lip scrub in my opinion and that was my go to for years, it has the same type of application in lipstick component but the scrub in Elfs is far less abrasive and more moisturizing and quarter of the price! Elf also has a cherry scent as well as the brown sugar they both get huge thumbs up from me! Definitely recommend!

Good exfoliation for lips. Not really great if you don’t like sticky stuff on your lips. But it works well.
This was an alright product it did melt fast but it did the job and exfoliated my lips well enough for lip stick to sit well on top
I love love love this exfoliator. It has such a yummy formula that I find it hard not to eat it. You can lick any remaining formula off. Its so sweet and yummy. It does such a good job of exfoliating my lips. I have really dry lips and can't wear lipstick that often due to this reason as it looks horrible and you can see my dry, cracked lips and it doesn't look pretty.
When I apply this exfoliator, it feels and looks so smooth and I can finally apply lipstick. Its my holy grail product for dry lips.
Buy again? he he he are you serious? Definitely, I am always stocked up and have 4 of these.
Tips: BUY BUY BUY lol
For the first few uses its really good, exfoliates your lips (its essentially just sugar) and keeps them soft. After a few uses though it gets clogged up and doesn't work well even when you press really hard. all you have to do to fix this is scrape the top layer off lightly.
Tips: press lightly on your lips and don't overuse it
After reading all the amazing reviews here on BR, I knew I had to get my hands on this. I suffer from dry lips that can get a bit flakey in the winter, so I always have to exfoliate them before I wear lipstick. Usually I just mix some sugar and honey and scrub away, but that isn't very portable and can get quite messy! Enter this Elf Lip Exfoliator...
It comes in a sleek black tube, and winds up just like a lipstick. This packaging is nice and sturdy and has survived well rattling around in my handbag.
The smell is delicious, like sugar and vanilla, and it tastes faintly like that also.
The actual product is a great exfoliator: I swipe it onto my lips a couple of times, like I'm applying lip balm, and then rub the product in. The gritty sugary particles really scrub away flakiness without being too harsh or painful. After I wipe it off, the oils do leave my lips feeling moisturised and soft. I still usually apply lipbalm, but it's not crucial like with some lip scrubs!
I picked mine up from Kmart for $10, but when I run out I'll be getting it from iherb because it is way cheaper off there!
Overall: I love this, would recommend it to anyone, and will definitely repurchase once I've run out!
Tips: The first time you use it it may take a few swipes before the stick loses the 'outer' layer and becomes very scrubby in texture.
I had heard so much about this product and almost immediately decided I wanted it, the hunt was on to find it. After a long awaited time I finally found it and I'm so glad I did I love it. It's really good for keeping my lips soft. It's so easy to apply and fits in perfectly with your morning and night skin care routine. The smell is also so sweet it's really nice. Only bad thing would be (and it may be due to my lips) as the lip exfoliant gets more and more used the scrub gets a bit harder and more prominent rather than an even amount of balm and scrub. Other than that I love it.
Tips: Put some lip balm on your lips first if you experience the same problem I do. It lubricates your lips for ease of use :)
I actually purchased this product after reading the great reviews on here. My lips get dry especially in winter, and when it is a windy day, and we all know how unappealing it is to use lip balm, gloss or stick on top of dry lips, as well as how it doesn’t look quite as good as we hoped! I had never used a lip exfoliator, and honestly did not think I needed one. Wow, was I wrong.
The E.L.F lip exfoliator comes in a container similar to regular lipstick, simply take off the lip, and twist the bottom for the exfoliator to be applied, which is done exactly the same way as you would apply lipstick. The product is a caramel colour, and has brown specks in it. A texture and taste that I would compare to brown sugar! Additionally, it actually smells sweet like sugar and I quite liked this aspect.
I softly applied this to my lips, and I found it to be really gentle, and effective at removing the dry skin, and it honestly made my lips so soft, and perfect for applying a lip product onto afterwards! I tend to use this twice a week, or more depending on the weather conditions! Definitely worth a try!
I LOVE this product! Before trying this I used to use the Lush lip scrub which is great, but super messy and I would end up with sugar all over my face. This exfoliator removes all the dry skin, and your lips feel so soft and moisturised. It tastes and smells great - like sugar and the lipstick bullet makes application really easy too! My lipstick glides on perfectly after using this exfoliator!
This lip exfoliator is great. I love how convenient it is to use, as it is in a lipstick type so it's not messy like other lip scrubs.
