I only have one shade of these elf long-lasting lustrous eyeshadows and that is in the shade Toast its a Gold shimmery colour and is absolutley amazing, it doesn't look that great in the pot but it looks amazing on the lid its my fave sparkly gold shadow. It lives upto its name and lasts all day, its super buttery and creamy and i want to buy the rest of the range especially confetti.

Tips: i find it easier to apply with my finger instead of a brush
I bought mine off iherb, because everything is so expensive in this country, it was only like $3 I think. I don't know what the name of the colour was but it's like a pretty deep gold colour. This product can be used by itself or as a base under powder shadows, I personally use it under my naked palette because i find it goes really well with the taupe toned shades. The texture of this product is so cool, its like a mouse cream which makes it go on super smooth and stay all day. It isn't as pigmented as I would like out of an eyeshadow but for the price; it's great. I really like the packaging of this product because it's compact but not too small that it's hard to get in to.
Tips: Apply with fingers to warm up the product!
I purchased this from iherb after hearing only good things about it. Being a gold eye shadow fan I decided to pick up the shade toast which is a beautiful cool toned shimmery gold shade. I often find ELF products very hit and miss, but, this is certainly a hit in my books.
For the $3 (US) dollars I paid for this everything about this product impressed me. The packaging is a step up from a lot of elf products and is a simple clear pottle (I love this type of packaging as it means I can instantly find the shade I am after) with a secure black screw lid.
This product is an odd texture and not something I have encountered before, but, I do like it. Elf describe it as whipped gel which is exactly how I would describe it, it is lovely and light and easy to apply to the eyelid with your finger (this is how I would suggest applying it as due to this odd texture it isn't something that is easily picked up with an eye shadow brush). The toast shade is nicely pigmented and has a gorgeous shimmery look on the lid (If you are not a shimmer fan...avoid this). I have found it wears well and doesn't crease or fade which is fantastic.
I like to wear this as a one shadow look applied on the lid and then blended out or in the middle/inner part of the eye a darker powder shadow in the crease and outer v.
Overall I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this to all (shimmer shadow fans) and am keen to try out other shades in the range as they are a quick and easy option which look stunning. Plus for the price they are a must have bargain.
Tips: I find applying with your fingers work best for most cream style eye shadows and this one is no exception.
This is so pigmented I love this for the lid with blending into the crease shadow and base. It just adds something very cool and elegant to the eye with out the powder going everywhere. Best thing about this is I can apply this with my finger. It lasts all night so easy to put on and feels so nice. PRICE is incredible I like this better then the colour tattoos by loreal. I don not base the quality of something off the price this is literally just as good as high end cream eyeshadows!! I wish they did more
did i get a bad batch?! everyone on here seems to really enjoy them?! i just can't see the hype. my eye shadows were very much 'bouncy' and did not really come onto the brush or my fingers evenly. I have only played around with them once, but I was not very intrigued into using them :(
I have this product in 'party' its a black with a shimmer, perfect for a dramatic smokey eye. It is a whipped gel shadow and the texture is a bit different from what I am used to, but it went on nice and soft. I can't wait to try some of the other colours!
Tips: Can be used as a shadow or liner, try applying with your finger or a flat top eye brush.
I purchased two colours from this range, Toast, a glittery gold, and Party, a glittery black.
I love the colours, but the consistency is just plain weird. I found them impossible to apply with a brush, it is so thick and goopy the brush just pushed it around, and you get barely any out of the container. The only way I could apply this was with my finger.
Once you get past the no brush issue, they are quite a nice shadow. The colour is very pigmented, and very glittery. The are long-wear as they state on the packaging, I also didn't notice any creasing on my lid
I love using toast with Buck from my Naked palette, they blend beautifully into each other.
...and only got them after I saw Shaaanxo had reviewed them on her youtube page.
The texture is strange. When I first got them and tried it I was certain that it wasn't going to work very well as an eyeshadow. I ended up applying it with a flat top eye brush and it went on nicely.
I found it quite long lasting and actually quite easy to blend. The colour pay off is quite nice as well especially for a cheap brand.
I have the colours Toast and Gala
I have this in Gala and its surprisingly a wonderful product. This comes in a nice little pot with a screw top lid. Its very secure so its not going to open in your makeup bag and make a mess. The consistency is like a soft jelly as opposed to gel that can be applied with your fingers over the lid or with a synthetic brush to line the lashes. Its nicely pigmented so a little goes a long way. The shade I have is gala which is a deep sparkly brown. Even though its glittery its fine enough to still be subtle. Over primer it lasted well. I don't know about creasing as I don't use glitter in my crease. I will definitely purchase more of these as Iherb.com sell these for $3. I wish they had more colours though.
I bought toast which is a gold shade off of i herb. I think for the price it is really good. It is a great base for a gold eyemakeup look. If you put a gold powder eyeshadow on top it looks amazing. It can still be pretty on its own too. Glad to have this in my collection
Tips: use your fingers. It is difficult to use with a brush
