Good for the price

This works great considering how cheap it is. It stops my makeup from creasing under my eyes and makes my skin look really smooth. The only downfall of this product is the shimmer in it as I'm not a huge fan of shimmer. You definitely get your moneys worth with this product though :)

Tips: If you don't like shimmer, use a blending brush to apply rather than the one provided. I've found that a lot of the glitter doesn't stick to the skin when using a blending brush.

Holy Grail!

This product is ammaaazzzing for the price you pay! I have a really big issue with product creasing and looking cakey under my eyes - but not with this! I was skeptical, but for the price I thought what the heck. Best decision I ever made. This product does not look cakey at all, it is very fine and it sets my under eye area perfectly so I have very minimal creasing compared to other products I have used. Will be repurchasing over and over again!

Tips: Just a note: this does have tiny shimmers through it but I find they are not noticeable at all and either don't tend to show up or drop off very quickly.

ELF Undereye Setting Powder

I picked this up one day in K-Mart when I was lucky enough to spot a few ELF goodies left on shelf and was waiting for my Iherb order to arrive.

I'm not a huge fan of the packaging. Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a clutz, and I find the container and lid to be quite awkward to handle myself and apply the powder from. The brush it comes with I also find rather fiddly and prefer to apply it with a longer handled brush for easier application. Non-clutzy people may be fine though!

The powder itself reminds me a lot of ELFs HD setting powder which I bought after this, in that they're both very finely milled, talc-like powder. The undereye powder is more or a cream colour though with a faint shimmer through it, which is only slightly visible on the skin.

I didn't think this really worked well alone on my dark circles or lines, however I did really like it for setting my undereye concealer.

I probably wouldn't purchase this again, because for the price I feel you would be better off just purchasing the HD setting powder which is so similar and I found worked just as well at setting my undereye concealer, just without the sparkle. You get a lot more with the HD setting powder so it does end up being more economical and it has the added benefit of being able to use it across the face.

Tips: Use a light hand when applying this so as not to leave a powder trail!

Great undereye powder

I finally gave in and bought this, although it is pretty inexpensive. This is a great under eye powder, I am hooked! it sets my under eye concealer perfectly and almost completely stops creasing. it has hardly any colour to it and is almost completely sheer. I'm not a big fan on the packaging, it isn't a huge pot so it can be a bit tricky to get enough on my brush without spilling it all over the floor, and also I find under some light and in photos I have noticed it can tend to have a slight glittery finish. But overall it is a really great product at a really affordable price.

Tips: I have also found it at iherb.com

Elf Undereye Setting Powder

I bought this off iHerb for next to nothing. Bought it after watching the Youtube gurus like Shaaanxo use it in their tutorials. First impression was that it was shockingly small, but good that it comes with a small brush (though I use a bigger brush to cover a larger area).

I am not too sure what makes it special for the undereye area as opposed to the rest of the face, as it is just a translucent powder. It does have quite a bit of glitter in it though, so that does help to brighten up the eye area.

Overall, I am glad I tried it, though it didn't really live up to my expectations so I don't feel I would purchase this again.

ELF under eye setting powder

I also bought this off iHerb after reading other reviews and seeing it used on Youtube Tutorials and I have to say first impressions was not that great.

I am not a fan of the glitter in it and it doesn't do anything for my dark circles or creases really.

There was also a lot of fall out as its sort of like a talc powder consistency so I ended up with sparkly bits on other areas of my face and the brush that came with it is pathetic to say the least!

At least I tried it and its cheap but not for me. I won't buy it again.

Love!

I was introduced to this wee guy recently (Thanks Shannon Harris!) - I bought mine off iherb for $3US, cheap as chips (I grabbed an extra for a friend too). and although when I opened it I was slightly alarmed at the amount of glitter I could see I would definitely not class it as glittery on the skin. I have very dark circles under my eyes, and wear a very heavy concealer most days to hide them. This setting powder overtop of my heavy concealer lasts all day! The powder is slightly reflective without being shiny and this gives the illusion that I am well rested! I absolutely adore this and will definitely be replacing when I run out! As for the packaging, yup its tiny...but it costs $3 - What are you really expecting. You only need such a small amount and I don't see it running out that quickly!

Tips: Throw out the stupid wee brush it comes with and use a decent one, I use a eye shadow crease/blending brush for mine.

My go to undereye setting powder

I use this product everyday as I always find that I have bad creasing on my under eye area.. As I have fair skin I don't find it brightens under my eyes but it almost blurs the skin there to make it look a lot more flawless. A lot of people have complained about the 'glitter' in the product I worried about this when I first tried it but it's barely noticible on the skin. I love how it works with my Mac ProLongwear concealer - for the price it's amazing!

Tips: I use this with a Real Techniques setting brush and I find this is the best brush to use the product with - using a patting motion rather than brushing gives the best effect.

Worth A Try

I bought this as I had heard so many people raving about it, like most I purchased it from iherb. I am in my late 20s and under eye creasing is starting to become more of a reality/problem for me and just using concealer under my eyes didn't seem to be cutting it. I find that a little goes a long way with this powder, you don't want to be too heavy handed as it is a glittery/ish product and you're bound to have fall out. I find this will go the distance if I put a finishing powder over the top of this when I finish off my face and it looks a bit more polished and less glittery.

Love

I watched so many videos where people use this product I knew I just had to try it out myself to see what all the hype is about. This product doesn't crease on me like other powders I've used to set my under eye area. It is so finely milled that it is just splendid to work with. It is so affordable which is an added bonus and it doesn't leave a white cast under my eye like I thought it would. Final verdict, I love it and will definitely be repurchasing this product over and over again.

Tips: You don't need much of this product so remember to tap off any excess and press it into your skin rather than swiping it under your eyes to achieve the best results.
