It's used often and still going. Sturdy little brush for precision. The perfect little smudge brush, gentle on eyes.
ELF is a brand that have some fantastic products for the price. Their brushes are very inexpensive and I picked this up last year when they had a 50% off their US site.
Whilst this isn't a brush I reach for daily, it is a good little brush and one that I am happy to have in my collection. This is a very small, dense brush that I like to use to pack on colour in my inner corner. The size of this brush makes it ideal to do any small, detailed work.
Because this is synthetic you can use it with both cream and powder products. I have never experienced any problems with bristles falling out - and I have washed this at least 10 times.
The bristles aren't as soft as other brands of brush I have but they don't hurt and are packed densely enough so that they ensure a great distribution of colour.
Overall I think this is an excellent brush for the price and is absolutely ideal for those who want a small brush and a small price. For the cost, this brush is excellent quality. Whilst a brush like this isn't a necessity in a collection, it is inexpensive enough to purchase with no guilt.
This was a brush that i has to get from my latest iherb order, and only because a vlogger was raving about it. What can i say, those youtubers are amazing enablers.
I brought this brush for $2.40 USD off iherb when they were having sale, and lets face it, that is ridiculously cheap. How can you go wrong with a brush that cheap, so of course i brought it, and i think i showed great self-restraint not purchasing 3 back-ups at this price.
This elf brush has a slim matte black handle, which is easy to hold, and fits nicely in my hand. Perfect. The bristles on the brush are shaped square, with rounded edges. They are black, and shiny and healthy looking.
Honestly, this brush is not the softest, especially for that delicate area under my eyes, but it really is made for its purpose. The semi-firm brush smudges colour amazingly, and it also transfers colour really well so another bonus.
For the price of this brush, you cant go wrong. Its a great little brush for any collection, and although i have to admit i don't teach for it every day (because i don't do dramatic eyes everyday), when i reach for it, i know it is going to perform.
I picked this up recently from iherb when doing ANOTHER order. This was an incredibly cheap deal at $3! I couldn't believe how cheap this was, so it just had to fall into the cart.
The brush itself has quite a long thin light handle in matte black. On that the name of the brush is written in white. The metal ferrule is also shiny black and the hairs are black also. The hairs are soft, but not the softest due to the fact these are densely packed as the brush is made to pick up colour. The hairs quite short and square.
This brush is quite small so I like it for applying colour underneath the lower lashes. Also for putting highlight in the inner corner of the eye. It would also be great for spot concealing. It easily picks up cream and powder products. I haven't had any problems with any of the hairs falling out.
A great product for a great price!
I started my previous review this way, but I'm afraid I'll have to do it again... I love this brush!
What a brush... The best brush... The ELF Smudge Brush...
The brush is quite sturdy with really lovely, densely packed bristles. It can double up as a smudge brush or an eyeliner brush. I use it for both and I love it!
It's quite small, but I like it because it offers precision blending. You can control exactly how much shadow you want where with this brush.
This has definitely made an improvement to my makeup application. You won't be sorry you bought this!
I've seen elf brushes mentioned alot on the forum. I was lucky enough to recieve this brush as a gift. Never tried elf brushes before. I only started using make up brushes in the last three years. Make up brushes make a huge difference in the end result of a make up look.
This brush is thin but has a suprisingly sturdy handle. Its black with the white elf labelling going down one side. These bristles on this brush feel firm and compact.
I like to use this brush for smoking out my lower lash line. Sometimes I use it for filling in brows . I think it isn't soft enough for eye shadow blending.
After trying this brush I am interested in trying more brushes from elf. It does do a great job at smudging lower lash lines. Elf brushes are extremely affordable. I have been waiting for Kmart to stock more of their brushes. I definately want to make a purchase to try more out. Would be a great starter point for beginners.
