I just purchased this brush mostly because it was super affordable. I really like medium/full coverage foundation and this wasn't the brush for me, made me look quite cakey becauce i have slightly oily skin! However i really love using this brush to blend my makeup around my ears and down neck because its not to dense like other brushes and its so nice and soft. Wonderful with cream blushes and to add subtle highlights.

Tips: Not for full coverage foundation!
This brush is my go-to brush for cream blusher. That's all I really use it for as I prefer other brushes for my foundation etc. It is beautifully soft and odes a great job. I find it picks up the perfect amount of product as well so I never end up with a blush overkill
Tips: Just keep dabbing until your blush is well blended so you have no harsh lines!
For the price this brush is great. The synthetic brushes are soft and are great at applying and blending cream blushes and highlighters. Because the brush isn't very dense it blends the cream products and leaves an airbrushed finished. Can also be used with powder blushes and highlighters and leaves a nice finish.
This was the first brush I used when I started using a brush to apply my liquid foundation - being cheaper than other brands I didn't feel like I was making a huge investment in a tool I may not like.
It's very easy to use and gives my makeup an airbrushed look - something the old sponge can't. I also use it for applying powder and blushes - it's extremely versatile.
My only downside to this is that I found the bristles come out all the time. However it's not enough to stop me using it!
Tips: Remember to clean your brush regularly. They are a breeding ground for bacteria which can make your skin breakout!
This was my first brush I ever had . I was so unsure of how confident I would be with brushes and if they were better than a beauty blender. But this was awesome ! Especially for a first brush . I didn't want full coverage and that's what it achieved. I definitely recommend this to my friends who don't have brushes or are new to make up !
Tips: Don't layer the makeup on too much as it sometimes streaks
I have used other ELF brushes, so when I seen this new one, I had to try it. Once again ELF has given us a makeup brush that delivers as promised. I have used the stipple brush with both powders, and creams and it works beautifully.
Tips: If you are looking for a dense stipple brush this may not be for you.
This is the first and only stipple brush I have ever owned. I was an avid beauty blender user until watching a few you tube tutorials that used a stippling brush. I didn’t want to shell out too much money in case I hated using it as I made this mistake with a foundation brush and it just never applied right for me.
This is a classic looking stipple brush typical in appearance of other ELF brushes. The bristles felt and nice and soft to the touch and I was excited to give this a whirl.
I used this with my Estee Lauder double wear foundation, I probably didn’t use it quite as its maybe meant to be used but for me I pour a little bit of foundation out onto the back of my hand and then dipped the stipple brush into it. I then start on one side of my face and lightly touch my skin and just brush in circlular motions but gently so as not to squash the bristles down into my face. This gave me a really lovely airbrush finish with the doublewear really nice and natural and I think using the brush this way meant I used a lot less product which is always a bonus.
This gave a fabulous finish and I was really pleased with my purchase.
I had seen people had used this with their cream blushes and I had a really bright revlon crème blush that I decided to give this a go with as its such a bright colour you have to be super duper light handed when applying it or you look very clown like !.
This was the perfect tool to get a really light natural looking crème blush finish ! – that blush does not have to go to waste anymore .
All in all I was super duper happy with this purchase for such an affordable price I’m pleased this took my stipple brush virginity
I love most of the e.l.f studio line brushes and this one is no different. I mainly use it for blush, Its perfect for a slight wash of color over the cheeks. I purchase mine of the elf website in bulk hauls and forward it using youshop. I really dont see the need to spend money on more expensive brands when elf has done an amazing job with their studio line brushes
Tips: As always wash you brushes before using them, i use mine specifically for blush.
The ELF Stipple Brush is actually one of the first brushes I pick up daily to apply my makeup. I got 2 of these from iHerb that were $3usd each so a bargain and how could I turn down. It took me so long to start using it though.
Packaging is the normal ELF Studio Collection Black handle with the white writing, came in the clear plastic wrapper, just typical of ELF.
Bristles are nice and soft which are layered and that has helped me give a even coverage over my face as I use it for foundation, it really helps get evenly in those trouble areas, I found this brush was great for kind of hiding my enlarged pores as well which for me is perfect. It really does give a great application, and is one of my favorite brushes, I even keep a second one for when the other has been washed so then I don't need to go a day without using it, just incase.
I do find however that some days if an application looks too heavy that I need to go in and buff areas to remove any cakey look, it might just be me on particular days.
Overall I love this brush, will happily continue to use and would highly recommend for others to use.
Tips: Wash all brushes before first use, we all know that but still
The E.L.F studio brushes are well known for being great value and this is no different.
Never sheds and gives you an airbrushed look with cream and liquid products. I also use it for blending out powder products and it works just as well for that too.
It's not too dense so if you were aiming for a more fuller coverage with liquid products i.e. foundation I wouldn't use this. It would probably take you forever to get the coverage you wanted. If you were going for a more sheer, natural coverage it works.
It's best for cream blushes though. I use it with my cream colour base from MAC and it's amazing to apply my highlight.
It's nice and soft so blends your products like a dream. You don't get harsh lines with this brush at all.
