The E.L.F studio brushes are well known for being great value and this is no different.
Never sheds and gives you an airbrushed look with cream and liquid products. I also use it for blending out powder products and it works just as well for that too.
It's not too dense so if you were aiming for a more fuller coverage with liquid products i.e. foundation I wouldn't use this. It would probably take you forever to get the coverage you wanted. If you were going for a more sheer, natural coverage it works.
It's best for cream blushes though. I use it with my cream colour base from MAC and it's amazing to apply my highlight.
It's nice and soft so blends your products like a dream. You don't get harsh lines with this brush at all.
I bought this brush off I herb over a year ago when I was first getting into using brushes for my foundation. I'd seen quite a few people on YouTube rave about how amazing this was to get a flawless finish. Being an elf product, this is super cheap -$3 us.
The brush looks nice, not cheap like the price tag and the bristles are really soft. Stipple brushes a quite unique in looks, they start off dense at the base and then for the last cm at the top there is only about half The bristles coming through. It feels spiky but in a soft way if that makes any kind of Sense!
My first time using this with foundation was a total fail. I was left with a patchy, unblended mess no matter how hard i worked with the brush to get it even. I ended up having to use my fingers to rescue my face and that led to this brush going into the bottom of my brush box, never to see light again.
That is until about a month or two ago when i saw on here that it was great with cream blushes. I have a maybelline cream blush that was being neglected so I decided to pull these two items out of my collection and see what magic I could make.
I don't know how this brush does it, but it blends the blush on my cheeks perfectly. It leaves no harsh lines, no patches, doesn't sink into my pores and just makes it look natural. It amazes me how this brush can be so awful for foundation but so outstanding for blush.
This brush washes up well, i just use baby shampoo and a silicone mat. The white bristles have a slight stain from the blush after cleaning but nothing major. I haven't had any bristle fallout either.
If you love cream blush, I would absolutely recommend this to you. If you want a foundation brush, definitely look Elsewhere! If this brush ever broke, i would repurchase it.
