This is the first and only stipple brush I have ever owned. I was an avid beauty blender user until watching a few you tube tutorials that used a stippling brush. I didn’t want to shell out too much money in case I hated using it as I made this mistake with a foundation brush and it just never applied right for me.
This is a classic looking stipple brush typical in appearance of other ELF brushes. The bristles felt and nice and soft to the touch and I was excited to give this a whirl.
I used this with my Estee Lauder double wear foundation, I probably didn’t use it quite as its maybe meant to be used but for me I pour a little bit of foundation out onto the back of my hand and then dipped the stipple brush into it. I then start on one side of my face and lightly touch my skin and just brush in circlular motions but gently so as not to squash the bristles down into my face. This gave me a really lovely airbrush finish with the doublewear really nice and natural and I think using the brush this way meant I used a lot less product which is always a bonus.
This gave a fabulous finish and I was really pleased with my purchase.
I had seen people had used this with their cream blushes and I had a really bright revlon crème blush that I decided to give this a go with as its such a bright colour you have to be super duper light handed when applying it or you look very clown like !.
This was the perfect tool to get a really light natural looking crème blush finish ! – that blush does not have to go to waste anymore .
All in all I was super duper happy with this purchase for such an affordable price I’m pleased this took my stipple brush virginity
For the price this brush is great. The synthetic brushes are soft and are great at applying and blending cream blushes and highlighters. Because the brush isn't very dense it blends the cream products and leaves an airbrushed finished. Can also be used with powder blushes and highlighters and leaves a nice finish.
