I think I will forever love this smell. I do change from time to time but I have always had a bottle of this somewhere.

I have worn this on and off for about 5 years, I sometimes get sick of it, finish the bottle or give it away and then a few months later will crave the smell again and buy it again. There is a good reason Elizabeth Arden keep making this as it is a real classic. The bottle is timeless as is the scent, it is a clean slightly soapy (not in a bad way) floral which gives me alot of lily of the valley and violet, I also detect something like a sweet almond perhaps almond blossom note which reminds me quite alot of Guerlain's Champs elysee which was another scent I used to wear back in the day. Sweet but not artificially so, non-offensive when in close proximity to other people (was my ideal office wear scent). I have also worn this for other formal situations and a couple of wedding parties where I want to smell elegant but not overpower the bride. Always affordable, classic and timeless.
Tips: Great scent for wearing to work (perfect for the office) or anytime you want to smell classy and feminine without being overpowering.
I will always have this on my dresser, I must admit I have about 30 perfumes, added a couple more yesterday, but this one will always be a favourite of mine, its timeless, and classical in my eyes, my husband always comments when I have it on, one of his favourites too :)
I blind bought this through an online sale. There really isn't much to say for this. It smells like a very safe, boring day time scent. There are no stand out notes and it smells very synthetic
Like all Elizabeth Arden fragrances, the lasting power is non-existent
The bottle itself is quite iconic and the box has a luxury type quality (must be the shiny gold/metallic design)
5th avenue is a class of perfume that any fan of EA would recognise in a heartbeat.
The scent reminds me of a more floral version of their red door. It has a lasting scent of jasmine with a spicy undertone, that lasted for a few hours bdfore needing top up, this is what I call my Saturday fragrance for going out with the dogs, chores and shopping.
The bottle is classical with a tall slender glass bottle with tints of gold, a nice chunky lid amf effective nozzle makes a great package
This is such a classic scented perfume I feel. I have used this perfume for years!! Its right up my alley. If your a girl like me who loves fruity light fresh scents with a hint of floral without it being too sweet, you'll adore this scent. Its all of the above mentioned with a bit of musk which makes it perfect for night time wear as well.
The price is also great. I usually get mine from the Elizabeth Arden Makeup sale in Auckland at a really good price and have it in my handbag always. I have used it for years and have not gotten sick of it at all. Love this perfume. Try it if you can and you won't be disappointed.
