I love elizabeth arden. I have fond memories of mum using this brand growing up . Every so often Auckland has an elizabeth arden sale. My sister and I would go and buy products which would last me a very long time. I decided to pick this one up as a try for half the retail price.
Packaging is reflective of elizabeth arden brand . Classic chic timeless through the ages. Capsule itself is made of soft rubber filled with a rich oily serum. Great for dry maturing skin. I use this every night I haven’t had any skin irritations whatsoever.
In conclusion my skin still looks the same . Hydrated not completely smooth as it is ageing . I’m happy with it. Probably wouldn’t buy it again. Another overhyped product . I’m yet to meet my miracle serum. Until that day comes.
Over the years, as I’ve aged, I have moved through a few brands. When I was younger I used Clarins, then tried Shiseido, and over the last 5 or so years it’s been Lancôme. The prices of these products in NZ however, are slowly becoming prohibitive and someone recently suggested I try Arden. I purchased the Retinol Ceramide Night Serum capsules, and a FF foundation, and along with this I got a gift bag containing small jars of the day serum and the Vit C booster serum. I have now been using these for just over a week and am really pleased with the results. I am seeing a lovely change in the surface texture of my skin. It is giving a lovely radiance which I have not had in a while. So I will be back to the store for more!!
Tips: I use this serum about 5 minutes before I apply the new Flawless Finish foundation, and it gives me a fantastic result. The foundation lasts me all day without having to touch up, which is great!
