Tips: apply after washing your face.. feeling fresh is great
My mum gave this to me when I had a cold as she never used it. After blowing my nose continuously it started to get sore and chapped. I decided to try some of this on my nose over night and it worked a charm. I also use this on my lips overnight. Strangely enough I have grown to the smell.
This was recommended to me by a friend for sunburn and any other skin ailment. It reminded me of the old Rawleighs Ointment that was a one stop shop for burns, insect bites, stings, moisturising dry skin etc. I always carry a tube of this in my handbag. One down side is the smell isn't fantastic but with a product that delivers I can look past it. It's we'll priced and a small bit goes along way!
My Nana swears by this cream and always has a tube in her bathroom. As a child I would always use it as I had very cracked lips - she would even give me a little pottle to take home with me. Whilst I haven't applied this cream to other parts of my body, it did work wonders on my dry and often very sore cracked lips. To be honest, I'm not even sure why she purchased it, or what she used it for. I have a funny feeling it might have been for dry hands. Although it doesn't have a very pleasant taste, it's thick formula seemed to really seal the moisture in and help provide a barrier so my lips could heal. I swear by this cream for that purpose!
I have dry and quite sensitive skin. I have used this product for everything. As a hand cream during winter to help with chopping, as a lip balm and under my eyes when they are getting all hollowed out. It does the trick it's super moisturising and protects your skin in really harsh conditions. I would definitely recommend. My only qualm with it is that it is relatively expensive and I have found products similar enough that do the trick.
Tips: I use this as a balm for chapped skin and lips during the day and as a super moisturiser at night using it to plump out any small lines on my face at night.
Don't have much else to add to all the positive reviews! As I have dry skin prone to eczema, this stuff is absolutely brilliant for keeping your skin smooth and moisturised and the bottle size is handy too! Not too much of a fan of the rose smell though personally, although I hear there's an unscented one?
I bought this duty free as everyone said it's the magic cure all. I honestly didn't like it. Consistency is think and tacky and I found the fragrance to strong. I really didn't like it at all.
This product is magic.. I use it on my lips to stop dryness. It's easy to carry in your handbag and use during the day.
This is one of the best multi use products I've used. It really is '8 hours' also. The smell inst the best, but it is worth it
I have owned a tube of Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream for as many years as I can remember. It's a go to staple that's as much a part of our first aid kit as a beauty supply. One of it's most regular uses in our household is as a foot balm ... for dry heals, callouses and general softening.
Tips: If you've spoilt yourself with a pedicure - top it off by gently massing Eight Hour Cream into your feet before you go to bed and your feet will look and feel even better the next day - it sort of extends that just pedicured look a bit longer!
