I actually won this product and had never tried it before. 6 months on and I use it for everything, dry skin, chapped lips - anything that just needs a little TLC! I find the balm is a nice change from a cream, but is slightly, stickier/greasy - just something to be aware of.
Tips: This is really a miracle product. I use it on everything. Think of it as a giant leap up from lucas paw paw!
I get INSANELY dry lips as well as a few spots of exzema, this is a miracle worker. You can use it for several things, but i use it mostly as a lipbalm. Its quite lipid based-so fatty consistency a bit like Lucaspawpaw in a way, but better. Works wonders and far better than other lipbalms, also your lips dont get that addicted thing where they eventually become dry from using the procudt too much. Will repurchase again and again. Some people dont like the smell-it doesnt bother me, but if it does there is a fragrance free version. Will last you forever so great investment.
No other product is as amazing! Although the smell takes a bit of getting used to! It is more of a balm/thick sticky gel than a cream. It is ideal for putting on blemishes at night and miraculously cures them. And it will always keep your lips soft and supple. I carry it around everywhere in my handbag. My lips wouldn't survive without it! Make sure you always take this cream on the aeroplane when you go travelling.
Tips: Ideal for rubbing around the bottom of your nose if it is dry from having a cold!
This product is the most versatile must have in my handbag. After starting a course of Accutane nothing would control the dryness especially on the face and lips. This skin protectant was the only product that kept the lips under control. Even though I stopped the medication a long time ago I still continue to use this for my lips. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who has issues with dry lips, eczema, sunburn/windburn, and just general dry areas on your body.
It's all pro's for me! I don't see any con's because it's totally worth the price and a little goes a long LONG way!
Tips: Keep it out of the sun...it gets really messy when its warm! The smell of the original isn't that great but I use the Fragrance Free one especially because I use it on my lips!
I have used this glorious stuff for about ten years. My favourite use is as a non-sticky lip product that gives shine, but I also use it liberally in winter around my nostrils which have a tendency to crack.
It has a strong smell, but it's not too unpleasant. It is expensive, but it lasts forever.
I keep a tube of this in my handbag, car, room and on the kitchen bench. I love it for dry winter lips or just to make my hands extra soft but it can be used for so many different things. I'm yet to find a product that's better than this.
I was introduced to this product when I was given a bag of goodies from the Dermatologist when I was put on Roaccutane about 15yrs ago.
It comes in a tube or occasionally they sell it in a small glass jar. I preferred to use the tube as I tended to use too much when I used the jar. The smell is very "average" but not unpleasant. If you are looking for something flowery you won't like this but it also comes in a fragrance free version which would be better.
It is quite greasy so you don't need to use much. Warm the small amount on your fingertips before applying to your skin. It is also great as a lip balm and if you have had a bit too much sun during summer.
I wouldn't like to use this during the day as it does feel rather greasy on the skin so I only use it after I have cleansed my skin at night so it absorbs during the night.
Very inexpensive for such a great product for people with sensitive or dry skin. I have oily skin and it is still ok on mine.
Tips: Only use a small amount, warm it on your fingers before applying to face. Great as a lip moisturiser.
This product is amazing. I use this for my dry lips and it works a treat. It glides on easily and is not overly sticky.
You can't go wrong with this product. I use it on dry skin, or put it on my lips over night to wake up with them feeling so soft and moisturised, with all dry spots gone. The smell is quite overpowering, but manageable, and this product is also good for sensitive skin. I do find the product quite think so it has to be used in small amounts.
