I really liked many things about this product including how quickly it helped to soothe cuts, cracked and dry skin. I do find the fragrance not all that appealing and if applied throughout the day rather than night time it can feel heavy and a little greasy. I found most often I would use it at night as I would be sleeping and not care about the smell and greasiness. For the age old summer complaint for cracked heels from wearing jandals all day every day it is fab, The packaging is sophisticated, classy and understated and the tube simple and smooth. The price is the major for me though. As I no longer work full time this Mum can't work this into the budget.

Tips: Purchase the fragrance free if you have a choice.
This is one of those products I had heard about for years but never purchased. I was generously gifted this, which excited me as I never would have purchased it.
Firstly, you get a heap of product in this. I have been using this weekly for about 2 months and there is still heaps left. Because the product is so rich, you barely need any - so this will last a long time.
One thing I dislike is the scent - it is a weird kind of herbal smell which I honestly don't like. This doesn't put me off of using it though.
As in the description, you can use this for almost anything. I like to use it on my chapped feet and elbows, as a lip balm, a raw nose when I get the flu - basically anything.
The product is a kind of thick gel texture which blends easily into the skin. It does leave the feeling of an oily residue, so bear that in mind of you go to use this.
I do really like this but I wouldn't pay $35 for it... I feel that Lucas' Paw Paw Ointment does the same thing (without the nasty scent), and it is a lot more affordable.
If you're a fan of the brand you might like to check this out, as it is a decent product - just not one I would purchase when there are more affordable products around that are very similar.
I was a bit hesitant to use this product due to the ingredients, so it's probably something i won't use too often. I had a very good impression when opening up the box, the product is very appealing to the eye. I like the pink lid and just everything about the packing of the product, I find it pretty. The sizing is nice too, not very big, it looks very nice and elegant. The smell is quite strange, it's not yuck but it's also not nice, I think you'd get used to it though. The consistency is very thick - so you don't need to use much product at all. It is a bit hard to squeeze the product out due to the thick consistency so you have to be less gentle when squeezing it out. I find I don't have too much of a use for this product right now. My elbows were a little bit dry so I've used it on them and they felt much softer pretty much instantly. I'm not sold on it due to the petroleum. I feel it's a product more useful in summer as its purpose is to treat sunburn so I'll keep hold of it in case I get burnt in the summer, or if I get chapped lips or windburn to see how it goes. I wouldn't repurchase. The product delivers well, but I'm just not keen on the ingredients. Also very expensive for the ingredients it has in it.
Tips: Apply to dry patches for moist skin. A small amount of product goes a long way
Come in thick plastic tube with screw cap. Does say it's recycleable which is good.
Pretty handy to have, and does what it claims like smoothing hands and cuticles, shaping brows etc... I use it a lot as a lip moisterisor which is perfect, mind you it's a lot to pay for a lip moisterisor.
Pleasant fragrance, gel like. Does have a lot of petrolatum at 57% but much better than just using Vaseline.
I feel this product is in a category of its own, doesn't claim to have healing properties however I am kinda used to having balm like products with Manuka Honey or other properties than also do what this product does and more like healing/helping to heal & calm down.
I would say it's a great all round product but get on promotion. I'd buy again but not at full price. It's a great looking product which comes in a nice box so even good as a stocking filler or those pesky secret Santa requirements.
Tube will last a while seeing you only need just a little.
Tips: Go easy, a little goes a long way.
After hearing great things about this 'Miracle' cream I decided to give it a go. Upon trying it the consistancy was nothing like I imagined it to be, it is more of a thick balm (similar to PAWPAW ointment) with a very distinctive smell which I have to say I am not a fan of. A little dissapointing as I love the smell of the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Hand Cream! I have used it on burns and dry skin and it has soothed the areas well. Not a fan of using it as a lip balm due to the strong smell. I didn't love this product as much as I thought I would unfortunately - perhaps I might feel differently using the Fragrance Free version!
Tips: Get the Fragrance Free version to avoid the interesting smell.
This product has been around for years and has a cult following, but this is the first time I have used. It worked a treat on my dry lips, and also looks great as a gloss. I also used to groom my brows! Good sized tube which you can throw in your hand bag and would recommend to my friends.
Tips: Great for spot treatment of dry skin.
When I first tried this cream I didnt really think it was a product l would use. But then started using it as suggested and I discovered how good it is, I have some skin damage due to overexposure to the sun over the years and have a few dry patches on my skin. I started rubbing the cream onto these 'patches' and in the last week I have noticed a marked improvement. Also good when out in the garden and I get the odd scratch from roses etc...Final conclusion 8hr cream would be great to have in your handbag to use whenever it is required....it is a great product
So I have this product and I use it and it does do what it says it will but I hate the smell! So much so I avoid using it. I have really dry sensitive skin and this product is great for that but I own other products I would prefer to use that do a similar job.. It works.
I'm a bit on the fence for this product. I discovered it back in 2007, as me and my friends would use it as lipbalm/gloss in class. It did keep my lips moisturised, but I don't think it's a 'super miracle' product? I also don't exactly understand how one can put it anywhere else on their body as I found it a bit too sticky/thick for my liking. I do like it for my lips though, and I may try it again, maybe the formula has changed since I last tried it a couple years ago.
My mum gave this to me when I had a cold as she never used it. After blowing my nose continuously it started to get sore and chapped. I decided to try some of this on my nose over night and it worked a charm. I also use this on my lips overnight. Strangely enough I have grown to the smell.
