This is definitely a luxury item, but in a few short days of using this product I noticed results. My skin was definitely brighter, looked a little more even in skin tone, and my wrinkles looked a little more subtle. I'm now 3 weeks into use, and I think if I'd done a before/after I'd see a difference. It's a generous amount of product in the capsule so I use it over 2 days.
I use the Great 8, 8 hour daily defence moisturiser over this, and they work really well together. My skin stays hydrated all day and I've noticed better hydration overall since introducing it to my regime.
I'm tempted to try other products now - especially their retinol captules for night time.
Yes it's pricey, but with the right 'gift with purchase' and the results I've seen I think it's a worthy purchase, and a good performer for a skin regime, if you can afford it - particularly in my age bracket - the over 40's
When I saw this in the vault sneak preview, it went straight to the top of my wish list! I’ve tried the original ceramide capsules so I was intrigued to see what the vitamin c ones would be like. I’ve tried a few other brands’ vitamin c products with varying results. Bare in mind, I use it more for its protective qualities rather than for getting rid of pigmentation- I actually quite like my freckles!
First of all the little capsules themselves. These are great for travel as you only have to take what you need. However I do think there is way more product in each capsule for just one use, even using the extra on your neck and décolletage as instructed. It is also an expensive product, as used as directed, the bottle would only last you one month max, if used once a day. So, I keep the capsule with any left overs in it, in a little repurposed sample pot.
The product itself is a nice luxurious oil which thankfully doesn’t have the weird smell some vitamin c products do. I apply it after cleansing in the morning which helps my skin glow. I have noticed some fading of my freckles (until I get caught by the sun again!). I’m glad I’ve had the chance to try these (thanks BR!) but I don’t think I would buy these due to the price. There are other nice vitamin c products available that are more affordable.
