After being a long time user of purple toning products I have been through my fair share of purple shampoos but i have never really tried the conditioners. I always though it was enough to just use the shampoo but after using this product for the last few weeks I think it is definitely worth a try!
I have very fine, chemically damaged hair and was very excited to learn that I had been invited to trial the essano purple toning products. The idea that they are all natural and available at the supermarket really got my attention. I prepped my hair by staying away from my usual toning products for the few weeks leading up to it and had a sufficient amount of brassy tones going on up there.
The bottle is gorgeous - it is purple and silver with an amazing feel. It looks and feels expensive. It has a flip/clip push open top. The smell is insanely good - just like the shampoo it smells like roses and sherbet. It is lilac tinted and the texture is thick and luxurious feeling- after applying it I had no drips. I left it in for 2 minutes after washing with their shampoo and then rinsed.
My hair instantly felt healthier and softer. After dryer (with a hair dryer) and running my straighteners through it I was left with smooth, silky, brass free strands that smelt amazing!.
I was worried that with this brand I would have trouble with the product being to heavy for my thin hair but it worked an absolute treat!
i will be repurchasing this once it runs out - along with its matching shampoo.
This conditioner has less of a scent than the matching shampoo, it's a light floral scent. It is very moisturising and a little goes a long way. The first time I used it I spent ages trying to wash it all out. I would recommend using no more than a $2 coin sized amount. My hair is soft and silky and no signs of brassiness when using this and the matching shampoo. I love that its gentle enough to use every wash and keeps your hair in good condition
Tips: Don't use too much, concentrate on the ends of your hair and rinse well
