essano Body Lotion

When I have guests at my house they comment on how lovely the hand cream is in the bathroom. This body lotion is fantastic. It is easily available at supermarkets, is a great price, natural, kind on skin and the environment and does exactly what it says it does! This smells incredible, is really moisturising & lasts a long time. The only fault I could find is the packaging - I'm not a big fan of the pump as its difficult to get the last bit out of the bottle and you have to turn it upside down etc. But honestly - great product.

After reading so many awesome reviews about the Essano Rosehip Intensive Hydrating Body Lotion I was super excited to try this product out! Unfortunately it massively fell short of my expectations. I found the lotion to be way too thin to do any real moisturising, which is weird since the product name includes the word 'Intensive'. I didn't find anything about this intensive at all! After switching to this lotion my hands actually started drying out to the point where they got kinda chapped, and I had to switch back to my good old Body Shop Body Butter. So unfortunately despite the cute packaging and awesome brand philosophy this lotion just did not cut it for me.

I love the bottle ,dark brown plastic with a decent pump on the top and a lovely pink label. It caught my eye and as it was a special at the supermarket I took the plunge. The pump is awesome -I pump is sufficient for hands and another for arms and elbows. Love the rosey scent and the consistency of the lotion.The lotions just melts into my skin and does not leave a greasy sticky feel after which is really good . With the container holding 400 Mls I feel even at full price this is a realistic price. I like that there is no animal testing and no nasty chemicals. I have been using a couple of times a day for a month and still have plenty of product left to use so feel it is value for money.

This received good reviews so I was keen to try it. I ended trying the 20ml travel as well as the larger pump (which I have for guests in the bathroom now). I used this after washing my hands at work and needing a nice smell to follow the toxic soap in the bathrooms. I chose the intensive as I thought it would be rich. I guess I should have realised a body lotion is for lighter application over the whole body. Anyway I have had to replace my cream at work but it works really well in the guest bathroom at home now and the fragrance is lovely. I am now keen to try a proper handcream by essano as I liked the frangrance and look and it wasn't too greasy or chemical like.

I've been eagerly waiting for my existing body lotion to run out so I could start on this new Essano one. Finally the day came I got to open it up and give it a try, and boy was it worth waiting for!! The smell is absolutely divine, lasts all day too, I kept getting wafts of the coconut scent during the day which is absolutely lovely. You don't need a lot of it so it's going to last a while, also as the other reviewer said it seems to absorb really quickly (much like the other Essano products) and doesn't require overly vigorous rubbing in.

Packaging is lovely as are all the Essano products, matches my Bliss Coconut Body Wash (can you see a trend here...) and looks lovely on the dressing table along with the other pink/brown Essano bottles.

Another favourite product for this year. I received this in the Thanks For... box from Best Beauty Box Ever. The packaging is classicly rose pink and matches the rest of the product line. What stands out to me apart from the colour is that it is NZ made and best of all Cruelty Free!

This lotion is fast absorbing, not greasy and has a lovely sent that is not overpowering. My number one body lotion I will be repurchasing.

I fell in love with the matching Essano body wash, so went and purchased the lotion. Quite pricey but I was lucky to pick up a bottle for $12 on special at countdown. I just Love Essano products. It's nice, it's light and leaves the skin looking moisturised. I don't really moisturise my body as much as I should so my skin still looks a little scaley still but that's my fault and I would recommend using this lotion twice a day. In my opinion it smells different to the matching body wash. Will definetely purchase again because I love natural skincare products.

This moisturiser is good but not for dry skin I reckon. My skin is pretty dry and it felt tight on my face after I use it. Usually, i prefer moisturisers that don't feel this way on the skin. Comparing this to other moisturisers I feel that other ones last longer and hydrate the skin longer and better than this one. It was given to me as a gift so I have used it sometimes but wouldn't purchase again. If you have oily skin maybe this would be a good one because it's not too hydrating. Smells nice and cute packaging tho

One thing that I have noticed with body lotions is that you don't need to spend a lot to get a decent one and this was no exception. I bought this on a whim at the supermarket as it was on special for $12.99. I'm normally a body butter girl but thought I'd give this a try and I'm definitely glad I did. It's lightweight so maybe not great if you have very dry skin or are after something more moisturising. It has a beautiful tropical scent that definitely reminds me of being on an island sipping a Pina Colada. I love it but I could see others finding the smell quite intense. At the end of the day it's a great value for money body lotion and leaves my skin feeling soft and smelling great so I'm happy
