essano Body Lotion

Love these moisturizers. Great for a everyday use. The smells are to die for. I have about three that I interchange. Best body moisturizers.

Unlike most of you gals on here - Respect! - I don't care about the perfume or appearance of products, although from a marketing perspective, I feel Essano has nailed the packaging, it's really smart, which is great as I try to support NZ brands. I just wanted something to relieve my hands from constant reno work and I even use it on my face when a big pump bottle is handy on a break after washing down.

Obviously I'm not the target market but I find it good for that somewhat random use. Not as good as the last one which was Sulkin. But perfectly fine and better value when your objective is not beauty but relief from work-battered skin. I think the smell is partly due to the lack of added scents and fillers rather than any inadequacy on the product's part.

I'll go now before I sound more like a girl... : )

I have just finished using the Rosehip repairing lotion and loved it. The smell stayed on my skin all day and kept it feeling hydrated without any sticky-feeling. With it being available at the supermarket, it is also a great price point for the quality. Very keen to try the other scents.

If there's one thing I'm a sucker for, its gorgeous smelling body lotions. This one has me sooo sucked in! its sooo divine! To me its sort of a warm floral/woody scent. And its strong. Its also great value for $16 for a 400ml pump bottle, which has so far lasted me 3 months, I still have 1/4 left. I have also been using this on my hands for a little indulgence and find myself walking around smelling my hands lol.

Moisturising properties...... well, to be perfectly honest, Its not super thick, nor is it runny, but it does have a nice smooth consistency. It was great throughout the heat of summer, but now that its cooling I've found I've had to use another thicker lotion to keep some areas on my body from drying out. So unfortunately I had to take a point off for that, which makes me a little sad because I love the smell so much lol.

So if you have super dry skin on your body, especially in cooler months, I wouldn't recommend this as your only product. But gosh it smells good! But I guess overall this is meant as a moisturiser not a perfume.

I really enjoyed the smell of this product - and I loved how it soaks in so quickly. Feels fantastic and smooth to use without leaving an oily after feel. Definitely moisturises my skin well. Packaging is lovely and great value for money!

I am becoming a huge fan of Essano's products! This body lotion has a beautiful floral scent, with an undertone of something I cant quite put my finger on-almost vanilla or woodsy? Maybe a teeny hint of musk, but only in a very subtle way. If you don't enjoy strong or floral scents this may be too much for you, and I probably wouldn't wear this if I was going out as I would worry that it would clash with my perfume. After a shower however, just before bed, this is heavenly. It glides on easily and sinks into my skin leaving it feeling very nourished. I wouldn't have called my skin particularly dry before using these products, but something about this range leaves my skin feeling so fresh and plump that I'm beginning to realise my skin was thirstier than I thought. This leaves my skin feeling so healthy! I don't go through body lotions very quickly, but when I run out I will be sure to repurchase.

The skin between my eyebrows and along the sides of my cheeks were forever drying out and practically flaking. For a while i was afraid of using moisturisers because they kept aggravating the skin and making it worse. However, Rosehip was the first moisturiser that provided deep moisturising for my skin that was light yet satisfying. I have found that it has a polarising scent, one that I've found works wonders when used in the mornings as a bit of a pick me up in the morning.

I used some of my friends' mums lol and wow!! Instantly liked it because it smells good, not a sweet smell just a soft rosey scent and it does hydrate/moisturize the skin. Anything that smells good and does what it says is a winner!!

soaks in after a few minutes, super hydrating and works as a great body lotion. Not too keen on the scent as it sticks around for quite sometime but it works well nevertheless
