This is a lovely product which is very moisturizing, love the scent but probably will swap with other brands as I get bored with fragrance easily. Not a fan of pumps as you can never get to the bottom, but are easy to use. Nice packaging and price.

I've been using this after winning an Essano products prize pack. Lotion isn't something that I typically use although I always have it for a quick hydration fix, when I don't have time to lounge around in my bath robe waiting for the slow absorbing oils/creams I usually use to soak in.
The look and feel of this lotion formula is much like any other, it absorbs quickly and the scent I love it's smoothly sweet & spicey, reminds me of ginerbread yum!
So as far as lotion goes I think this is sufficiently hydrating (for a 'normal' skin type anyway) when applied in the morning and again at night. Sufficent yes, desired level of hydration no, but that's maybe just a preference thing plus moisturising is something I don't really want to have to do more than once a day.
The fact that this moisturiser has rosehip, jojoba and shea butter in it makes me very happy to use it, beautiful skin care ingredients amongst my favorites. I really like this body lotion more so than others i've tried, it's quality & value for money. (Not that I purchased this one but I'm likely to in future.)
This is quite good as a body lotion but not as moisturising as the body oil. I have been using this as well as the oil for when I can't deal with the dribble problem with the oil :) It works well and smells great- a bit like chocolate to me.The pump dispenser is excellent and easy to use.It is Vegan and organic and New Zealand made = :))
This product comes in a brown bottle with the same pink branding as the other Essano products.
At first glance it is like every other white hand lotion, but once you start to rub it in, POW, the scent hits you like a ton of bricks!
It is absolutely gorgeous!! Surprisingly the scent lasts on the skin for ages after application too, which I really liked.
The lotion itself is lovely, It absorbs quickly and easily and leaves a lovely satiny feel to the skin. This felt amazing and also lasted for ages after application. This product is really giving my go-to body lotion a run for its money!!
It claims it will leave your skin smooth and supple, and it really does.
At around $16 this lotion is very good value for money, and I found I didn’t have use lots each time, so it should last for a while.
I recommend this product, and all Essano products, to others to try. It is on my list of products to buy for gifts for friends and family also
Tips: Apply on warm clean skin and prepare for a scent sensation :)
Essano have really hit the mark with the products I have tried, and this one is no different. It comes in a wonderful 400ml pump bottle which makes your moisturizer so easy to apply. Go easy as a little goes a long way. After my shower is the time I like to apply a body moisturiser and my skin drinks it in. It is not hard work applying this lovely silky smooth lotion.
The fragrance is really a bit subtle and so you wont find it over powering your fragrance of the day.
I feel moisturised and soft skinned all day.
Tips: Apply straight after your shower, your skin will love you for it.
A 20ml pink and black sample tube was in the Essano Rosehip Treat Your Skin Pack that I bought, so I can't comment on the full sized bottle, which I think has a pump dispenser.
The white lotion has a subtle scent that is hard to describe. To me, it smells woody, earthy and a little bit sweet, yet others have described the lotion as being more powdery, floral, marshmallow, vanilla or orange! I guess the smell varies from person to person.
The consistency of the lotion is quite thin and it spreads really easily, it's absorbed fairly quickly but allows enough time for a little bit of a massage and there's no greasiness but is a slightly tacky feel on my skin after the lotion has been massaged in.
It hydrates and nourishes surprisingly well for a body lotion and leaves skin feeling soft, smooth and supple.
Essano Rosehip Intensive Hydrating Body Lotion is made in New Zealand, is cruelty free, does not contain parabens, sulphates, phthalates or silicones and is made with certified organic ingredients.
Tips: As it's non-greasy, it can double up as a hand lotion.
I was gifted this after I had a baby. After spending a week in the dry, air conditioned hospital my skin was desperate for moisture. I have been using this since and it is amazing! My skin has never looked or smelt better.
There's no oily residue that you get from some moisturisers and it spreads on nicely.
The best part is there's no yucky stuff in it!
I love this brand, I use both face moisturisers and the cleanser but I don't use the body loton as much as I would like. I own it and it makes my skin immediately feel hydrated and smooth but the rose scent is far to strong for me and unfortunately I get a headache if I put even the smallest amount on. I hope they bring out an unscented one or at least tone it down on the rose.
I like the brand essano. I like it's made in NZ. I like it's made with certified organic rosehip oil. I like essano's promise it contains no nasty ingredients (parabens, harsh chemical sulphates, phthalates, colours, petrochemicals). I like the smell of the moisturiser. I like the cute little 30ml / 1.01 fl oz bottle with a pump on it. I like to use it on my hands throughout the day and keep it in my handbag.
Tips: Great NZ brand. Very reasonably priced at the supermarket, go ahead and buy a little gift pack (contains small travel size bottles), perfect to use on the go :)
Mum gave this to me because she hated the smell... I really like the initial floral scent, but then of course the musk undertones come through as with all perfumes products, and I’m not such a fan of that.
In terms of moisture, the thin consistency offers very minimal moisture. If you have dry skin you’ll need a thicker creamier lotion.
I still give this product a good rating because ultimately it was a nice experience using it, albeit not a life changing one.
