Oh how I love scented candles. There is always one burning in our home. Even Husband will light one if he gets home first! It can be very hit and miss with different brands and I am always a bit hesitant when purchasing a new brand. I found this one at the supermarket with a very good price so I thought it would be worth a gamble, and I am happy about that. This candle is in a nice thick glass jar and pretty sturdy . The lid is a thin metal one which when I am burning the candle I actually sit the candle on the lid. The scent, the most important thing, simply devine. I was hoping it would be pretty and it is. I close my eyes and could be in a wonderful scented garden, beautiful. My bedrooms are upstairs and the scent travels up nicely so when we go to bed we can still smell the candle. I am happy with the burn time and for the price I feel it is super value for money. Do try it.

This candle is so pretty and elegant. It smells very good and makes my house smell lovely. It lasts long and definitely worth the price.

Received this candle as part of a hamper gift pack from a friend. I love scented candles and use them daily. I must say I was never keen on vanilla scented candles in the past and wasnt too sure thaf I would like this one. I was pleasantly surprised as the pear/vanilla combination compliments each other perfectly and it doesnt have that intense vanilla smell. I have this candle in my bathroom next to the bath and I light it whenever momma needs a long hot soak in the tub. Very relaxing

As soon as I smelt this candle I knew I had to purchase this. The scent is amazing if you like citrusy fruity scents. This sits in my bedroom with the lid off and makes the room smell nice and not off-putting, I haven't lit it as yet. This is a great addition to the Essano range.

one of the best value candles!! both cheap and leaves your room smelling absolutely lovely!! Smells like you would expect - cirtusy and orange - so if that's what you are after this is the perfect candle. quite strong though - which i liked but may not be for everyone if you are after a more subtle smell.

Essano Candles are amazing not only are they affordable to buy, but You also find them everywhere in NZ so they are easy to find at the grocery store. and to top this as well, They actually WORK! it fills up my room & the hallway with its beautiful fragrance!

i love a candle so its no surprise these made it into my cart at the supermarket. and its no surprise i lit it as soon as i got home.

it smells delightful, like a delicious citrussy cocktail, but i didnt notice much of a throw which was disappointing.

it burned evenly which i was happy with, as i usually fiddle with the wax and i didnt have to here! id definitely buy it again if i needed one in a pinch!

I love scented candles and hubby is a 50/50 with them - some scents he can't stand, but this French Pear & Vanilla is a hit.

Even when its not lit, we can still smell the scent in our lounge (where the candle is kept). When burning, the candle has a lovely fragrance that is not too strong or overpowering, it's just perfect.

I’ve bought the French Pear & Vanilla candle several times it has a really nice “essential oil” type scent with Pear being the dominant note. I personally think it’s on the stronger side for affordable candles and is perfect for larger rooms of the house.
