I like that the bottle easily allows you to identify what it is. It claims to be a mist toner, but isn't quite fine enough to be a mist, only misty at arm's length.

It smells quite strong and sweet, and seems to stay on the skin, but is not sticky. It is very hydrating though, and I feel that my skin is refreshed and less oily.

Overall, it is a decent toner, but I don't normally prioritise toners anyway, and this didn't work wonders for me so I probably wouldn't repurchase. I feel that there would be better toners, which smell less strongly, and have an even mist.

I have only used a couple of toners in the past, and I haven't had good experiences with them. I thought that this toner would dry out my skin and make it feel really tight, but it didn't.

I really liked how this toner is in a spray bottle because it's way easier (and more eco friendly) than using cotton pads every day. It's really easy to use and doesn't dry out my skin whatsoever.

The only thing I don't like about this toner is the smell. It's not horrible, it's just weird and I can't put my finger on what it actually smells like. Although it doesn't linger and you can only smell it when you spray it, so that's a bonus.

Because I have been using these products as a system, I can't actually tell which product is doing what for my skin. However because this product contains witch hazel and chamomile, I would assume this product plays a big part in why my skin has cleared up so much while using this system. I will definitely keep using this product because it's so easy, and it's worth continuing to use it just because of the convenience.

I really enjoyed the scent of this toner and it felt nice on the skin but i have used it for over a year and cant really tell if its actually toning my skin. I like using it as its organic and thats why ive continued to use it even though im unsure if it does anything. It is affordable and the packaging is nice.

this toner did shrink the pores and hydrate skin after washing face ,my skin felt so soft ,but did not relise any effect of reducing the blemishes or controlling the oil .

I saw that some other ladies had trouble with the spray bottle... The packaging must be inconsistent because I enjoyed an even mist which fell delicately on my face. The pink/white/silver colour scheme is really cute too, so personally I liked the packaging.

The smell is a bit odd across this product range. I think it is meant to be some combination of vanilla and rose... In general I don't see the need to add artificial fragrance to this type of product, unless it is a real selling point.

I definitely found the mist light and non-sticky. My skin has definitely been a lot clearer while I've been using this skincare regime. I was previously using the Sukin organic mist toner, and I would say this has similar results at a similar price.

This is easily my second-favourite product in the Essano under 25s regime, so I would consider purchasing again.

I have recently been integrating a mist toner into my usual skin routine, so was super excited to try this! This has a similar white and pink colour theme as the rest range, in a spray bottle. It was easy to get the bottle to spray (it wasn’t too stiff or hard to press or anything), except I found the droplets that came out to be too large- for me it wasn’t fine enough. The first time I used it, the product wasn’t distributed very evenly and I had areas where there was a lot of product compared to others. I found that holding the bottle further away (about arms length or a bit less) made the spray droplets finer and helped the distribute the product more evenly. That said, it felt really hydrating and refreshing! It doesn’t take too long to dry either, as I usually like to wait for it to try before putting on my next product. I couldn’t quite figure out the smell, I expected it to smell similar to the cleanser, however it smelt completely different. It smelt more chemically than the others, it had a bit of a weird smell that I couldn’t really out my finger on. I used this after cleansing and before serum, which I usually find works well for me. My skin is pretty sensitive but I didn’t get any reactions or redness from this product which was great! I didn’t find that it left a lot of residue on my skin- it seemed to absorb and wasn’t sticky when I went to apply the next product. While I did like this, I am not sure it is the best out there, but for $13 it’s not bad!

I am currently in love with mist toners! I just love how refreshing they are. This one had the added benefit of being really calming which I found was perfet after being sunburnt! It made my face feel nice and hydrated which was great. I can't say that I overly loved the smell of it, it wasn't off putting but it could have been better. In terms of clearing up my skin I'm not 100% sold on it but I'd definitely buy it again as it's just nice to use throughout the day.

Before we start I must confess, I'm super lazy with toners. Most of the time since I'm using vitamin C serum anyway, I don't really bother with toner anymore. But when trialling this range, I was very diligent and forced myself to use this before putting on the serum.

Complaint no.1: the spray bottle. Imagine a wonderful mist that spreads lightly and evenly over your face. This is not it. This squirts out like a water gun and I end up with one circle on my face that's dripping and everywhere else is just dry. I don't know if I just got a crappy nozzle or if this is a common problem, but this pissed me off a lot. In the end I decanted some into another spray bottle I had that actually misted it.

Complaint no.2: the smell. The closest smell to this is probably a hospital disinfectant or some sort of window cleaner. The smell is absolutely horrid. None of the ingredients look like they'd be so pungent but there's just something about this smell that's almost unbearable. I suppose I must forgive Essano for not putting fragrances in this since it's anti acne, but surely there's a way to reduce this horrid smell?

Grumbling aside, this toner does really do the job! For me, a toner should make application of the following steps easier, and facilitate the products absorbing into skin. This ticks both boxes fantastically. I tried two days where I used the toner before serum and two days without the toner. And I found that with the toner, the serum and the moisturiser absorbed into my skin faster, leaving it feeling non-oily and ready for makeup or sunscreen.

The smell is something I can get used to I guess, and I do really like how it helps my skin absorb serum and moisturiser. The price isn't too bad either, especially considering it's 'certified organic'.

This was definitely a top pick out of the entire range for me! It's nice and cooling and it really did help with the actual toning of some uneven patches on my face. The smell could do with some improvements, as could the atomizer...it doesn't provide the most even of sprays and has heavy drops come out along with the finer mist -which feels generally uncomfortable to actually spray on your face. There really wasn't any other complaints bar the smell and atomizer! It definitely helps with oily skin and gives a fresh feeling once you're past the application point. I like the idea of a spray toner in the first place because toning is one of those things I find to be a bit of a hassle and low priority so with some improvements this would be a 5/5 for me.

This is the first time I have used a Mist Toner and so far I am liking it.

I have been using this toner every night within my Essano Clear Complexion skin regime. I like how light and fresh it feels on my skin. I usually spray 3-4 times across my face and neck. I don't know if I am using too much but it does take a minute or two to soak in and dry. It smells nice and fresh and adds to the hydration that my skin is getting from this collection.
