This range is amazing! Aside from a few odd smelling products (I.e the toner and serum) these all work well and do as the product is described. Packaging is cute, girly and pink. All containers are closed with either a screw cap or firm click, which is good for the traveller. I have been using the face wash, cleanser, serum and toner non stop since receiving this package and have seen an oil decrease in my T-zone. It’s still there, but takes a lot longer to appear throughout the day. I noticed I do not wake up with an oily face. Each product is not thick with oily residue, but evaporates fast and leaves the skin feeling dry yet somehow moisturised. I have sensitive skin and noticed no appearance of eczema or rash and did not experience any burning sensation on application. The pimple cream SEEMS to work as it says, but I have not been using it on any active pimples. It does not appear to irritate old pimples, and reduces redness. Overall, I love these products and have found a new face care routine!! HALLELUJAH.

Essano is such a breakthrough in supermarket skin care it has organic ingredients, is naturally derived, free of chemicals including disgusting mineral oils, parabens, silicone, free of everything bad and no gmo's! this stuff is amazing, it is also clinically proven, cruelty free recyclable and made in New Zealand.

The packaging is lovely although it's a beautiful feminine shade of pink silver and lilac definitely won't appeal to both sexes.

It is more then what it says.... It has so many extra elements, and every product contains natural herbs or nutrients instead of synthetic, that are easily absorbed and make skin feel alive and rejuvenated. It detoxifies the skin with bioDtox which detoxifies skin naturally cleans pores and controls oil.

This trial was for my teenage sun who has pimples and oily skin at the moment. Although his skin is beautiful with olive tones he does like to take care of his skin. He did not like the packaging, but I did and i have an oily T zone so it's perfect for me

The cleanser smells like goody gumdrops it left my skin feeling refreshed and clean. My son said it felt nice and clean The toner took awhile to absorb but felt nice and moisturizing, it contains witch hazel which is great for toners. It contains loads of other herbs and nutrients and felt amazing especially to refresh skin in summer. It smells divine like sweet nectar and honey.

The blemish gel actually almost cleared his pimples in three days, his skin looked so nice. It seemed to work quite well.

The serum smells like playdo for some weird reason. I preferred to use it at night as it seemed to leave a layer on my skin, it worked well though and made my skin feel tight and less oily and like it was improving it's tone. My son Saud it made his skin a bit shiny

The moisturiser is beautiful it smells like caramelised honey and it's a fantastic makeup base especially for oily T zone. It absorbed in seconds, my skin felt moisturised and glowing. It's better then a primer and it's all natural!!

First off, I love the packaging and the set it comes with, it includes everything you need for a full skin care regime. Face Cleanser, mist toner, Serum, moisturizer and Blemish Gel. The Smell isn't great, it's not bad but it's not good but I found it wasn't enough to put me off at all it's just a very subtle earthy aroma which isn't all that noticeable. I think having everything in a set like that makes it easier to remember each step for some reason. The cleanser was probably my least favorite product, I didn't find it particularly different from any cleansers I've used before although it definitely makes my skin feel fresh, that was about it. I didn't think I would like the serum but I found it to be very softening and made my skin feel very smooth afterwards a liittle also goes a long way it was not unlike the moisturizer which was very similar but had a different consistency. The mist toner was very refreshing but I don't feel like it's a very effective toner itself but it is really nice to cool down the face. I must say though the blemish gel was pretty rubbish for me, it made my pimples feel and look worse and I'm pretty sure it broke me out further in the areas it was applied to. All in all it's a nice set, but I don't know how effective it is as I haven't noticed my skin tone looking better and I wonder about the balance it's supposed to create as some patches of my skin were a little over dried but the oily parts were more normal, which is nice, but still not balanced. I think I will keep using this as it's simple and I really want to see if in a few months it evens out but would I buy this full set with my own money and re-purchase? Most likely not, and if I did I would probably feel more inclined to purchase the serum on it's own.

Just as the title says, each product has its own way of being gentle and natural feeling on the skin. Each product works with the others perfectly as each product blends into the one before. I noticed my skin become a more even tone which is amazing, and I got smaller blemishes than usual. The highlight was the mist toner as it was amazingly refreshing and definitely an every day product I'll continue to use. My skin has definitely benefited from taking a break from various brands and strong blemish creams - as a result making me feel more confident when I'm not wearing makeup. The natural smells the products give off work well together and make me feel relaxed, and the packaging is perfect to display in the bathroom. You get a decent size with every product that'll last you ages. I would definitely suggest the moisturizer and mist toner to others. But getting the whole regime products has really made my skin look great.

Using all five of these products (cleanser, toner, serum, moisturiser and blemish gel) together definitely mixed up my skin routine for the better and gave some clear improvements. As a gal under 25 it has been important to secure a skin care routine and I found the the Essano range provided everything you need to start or improve what you've tried.

Initially skeptical I had some doubts about the range of soap-free 'clear complexion' products. I launched into them having 'softening my pores steam in the shower. After working out the best way to apply the products (that is the order they suggest on the back of the bottle) I started with the cleanser which is a clear gel that doesn't foam much when lathered. I found that the clear colour of the gel made it hard to see what had been washed off but it did leave my skin cleansed. Secondly, I followed up the cleanser with the toner which promised hydration and balance, calming skin. My skin has never been 'angry' so I didn't notice a huge difference from the toner but I appreciated its hydration and refreshment on my normally dry skin. Then I used the moisturiser which claimed to control oil while hydrating without looking like an oil-slick. The consistency for a moisturiser is quite different from what I have normally used as it is more water based. The moisturiser certainly absorbed quickly but I'm not sure how well it was retained. (I also used it as a night cream). Then I followed the routine up with the 'detoxifying serum' which was something I had never used before. I believe this product was specifically targeted to prevent young skin from breaking out. This product didn't have direct application instructions but I just used it like a moisturiser. After applying my skin felt tight and clean, it was easy to control the amount used as it was in a small metal-styled pump bottle. Lastly, I dabbed a small amount of 'rapid action blemish gel' onto some small sebum pimples on different sections of my face. After approximately 3 days I had noticed my pimple reduce in size and redness which was encouraging!

Overall the products have certainly made my skin clearer in complexion, I have noticed less pimples/breakouts! I also gave my skin a break from the cleanser to notice its effect and I have seen an increased level of oil in my skin so I can say that it works!

Loved basically all of these products. I found that they worked well together and noticed a visible difference to my skin. My skin looked more glowy and healthy after having a proper skincare routine everyday. All these products contain very natural ingredients which is great for the skin.

My favourite product of of them all would definitely be the moisturizer. It is affordable and effective! Not only is it light, it also provides matte finish.

Step One - The purifying gel cleanser - This is my new favourite little thing! Such cute and simple packaging. It has a lovely natural sweet smell. The cleanser has a great consistency and foams up a small amount when applied to the face. This makes it feel like it really is washing and getting into those pores. However, I must say it is very gentle on the skin.. I used it after getting sunburnt and it didn’t sting a bit! After use, it can make my skin feel quite dry (but this is balanced out once I complete the next steps) but in the morning, my skin is noticeably less oily. Step Two – Mist toner - I must say this isn’t my favourite mist toner. It has a really sweet smell, but makes my skin feel a bit sticky. It has a nice even spray.. make sure to hold from arms length. I don’t think that this is a necessary product in the regime. It could be missed, and id still have a good outcome. It is lovely and refreshing on a hot day and after washing my face in the shower. Step Three- Detoxifying Serum - I really love the bottle, its nice to have something different from plastic. The product has quite a liquid consistency, and you really only need 1 pump not 2 or 3 as the directions say. It feels quite sticky on the skin, but this stickiness goes aware after applying the moisturiser. The one thing I really don’t like about this product is the smell. It smells woody, but not in a good way! I probably wont buy this product in the future, simply because of the scent. I like the idea behind this product, and I do believe it has helped my skin but because of the smell I wouldn’t. Step Four – Oil control moisturiser - I really love this one! It comes in really cute and simple packaging. The smell of this product is delicious, so natural and sweet. It has a perfect consistency, just like any moisturiser. It applies well, you only need a small amount. The only downside to this moisturiser is that it doesn’t have an SPF. I tend to use this one at night, and an SPF one during the day. My skin is noticeably less oily in the morning and I do believe that this product is an essential part of my routine. Step Five – Blemish Gel – This blemish gel comes is very cute packaging. It is a bit sticky, but this is to be expected. It has very little to no smell and has your typical texture of a gel. You only need to use a tiny bit, so even though the tube is small, it will last a long time. Don’t squeeze the tube too hard when using it in your first few uses, it will start spilling out once you open it. I did notice that my pimples definitely didn’t last as long when using this product. If applied at night time, my pimple would be noticeably less red the next morning, and some has even gone over night. I really have noticed a huge change in my skin. It is much less oily, fewer blackheads and actually only one breakout since using this range! I also really like how affordable the products are.

To start off the packaging is very cute and decent sized products. The ingredients are very clear and so are the directions. First time I used these products I noticed they didn't have much of a fragrance to them which I prefer. I followed the instructions of all of them and done them in order and my skin felt amazing. I found these perfect for my dry skin. The serum was stronger in smell and singly tingled my skin but it wasnt anything horrible. I found myself using the toner mist quite a lot even if I wasn't using the other products the most I have used much more. I found after the first week of using the products my skin broke out a little bit hut I believe that was the products drawing out all of the germs dirt and imperfections out of my skin because it cleared up within a week and hasn't happened again since.

I will definitely continue using these products more and most likely even purchase these items.

I have really enjoyed trialing these beautifully packaged products. The fragrance is odd, but the more important issue is whether or not these products are good for under 25s.

Personally, my favourite item was the spot gel. I will repurchase this as I felt it was very effective and did actually stop spots from reaching their full potential hehe.

The cleanser and toner I will happily keep using. They aren't the best I've ever had, but they are light and do the job.

The moisturiser and serum I had trouble with. Over the last week I've noticed that pores on my forehead, nose and chin are extremely blocked with black build up. YUCK. To be fair, it could be because I've been using sunblock a lot more with the beautiful weather in Wellington. However, I do feel that the moisturiser and serum sat on my skin and in the process of blocking oil production, they possibly also blocked pores altogether. Just a theory, but seems plausible to me.

Overall, I will still recommend to anyone with serious oil control or breakout issues.
