essano Collagen Boost Certified Organic Night Crème Review

I have long been a fan of NZ brand Essano, and I have used their Moisture Restorative Night Creme before. However, as I am creeping closer to 40, I thought it might be worth trying their Collagen Repair Night Creme.

This comes in Essano's pink cardboard packaging, but the moisturiser is in a black glass jar with gold lettering. The creme itself is a thick, pale yellow cream, that smells pleasantly of rose. It absorbs well into the skin, and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised.

Whenever I use anything with rosehip oil in it, it always seems to benefit my skin, and to reduce pigmentation. This Essano creme is no different, but it has the added benefit of collagen repair, which seems to be helping my skin so far.

I have to start this review by saying I am a massive Essano fan. I have been using a wide range of their products for a few years now and could not recommend them enough. I got this particular eye creme in a gift set type pack from Farmers (it was part of the Christmas stock) and I bought it because I wanted the makeup bag it came in. I wouldn't usually buy this variety of night creme because I'm not sure that I need the help of the collagen yet. I think I may switch to buying this one though because I really enjoyed using it. I love that Essano is made in NZ, is certified organic and is as natural as it could be. The product comes in a glass jar which I love because it is very much recyclable. The heavy glass jar and nice gold writing on it makes the packaging very attractive. The formula of this night creme is lovely. It's thick but not so much so that it feels like I've covered my face in a night creme blanket. It sinks into my skin nicely, even on top of the matching serum, and makes my skin feel hydrated and soft. The fragrance is lovely and just the right amount. Overall this product is great for my skin and I think it is amazing value for the $24.99 price point.

I use mostly Essano products for my product and recently bought this one - simply put I am in love with this creme, my skin feels supersoft both after application and during the next day.

I've used some other skincare from essano that haven't really worked with my skin. But decided I'd try this first before grabbing a bunch from the range.

It comes in a nice little glass jar and the cream is a nice texture. It absorbs really well into the skin and leaves it feeling smooth and soft.

I'm now looking at trying the serum and eye cream from the collagen range as my expectations were exceeded with the night cream.

Definitely give it a go, its so affordable and available and most supermarkets

Firmness and moisturized, two words that explain how this product has helped my skin. I use this cream every night after I've applied the collagen boost serum. After I've used the night cream I also apply the overnight mask cream so I'm fairly certain the combination of all 3 have helped my skin significantly. My skin is definitely alot firmer and in the mornings alot more hydrated then it was 8 weeks ago. I've also noticed the fine lines by my eyes are alot less noticeable. . The cream itself is quite silky when applied to the face and my skin soaks it up. I will definitely keep using this product.

I picked this up earlier in lockdown (so many moons ago!) and I've been loving it! To be fair I am partial to a bit of essano, especially the body care, and I needed a nightcream so figured with lack of store options I probably couldn't go wrong with this baby.

I was right! It's a great price and a wonderful product - super hydrating and a lovely treat for the skin at the end of the day. It smells like most other essano skin care, not overly scented, but a natural floral/herby smell.

This is a great intro to night creams, its just that little bit richer than a day cream and at a time when simple daily tasks ground us in normality, this adds a little touch of luxury to the mundane.

I have always loved essano. this night cream comes in a black jar and it has a thick white consistency. it doesn't have a very powerful smell.

a little goes a long way with this elegant cream. It does take a while to absorb into your skin but you will wake up with skin so soft and smooth. I fell in love with this cream my skin loves it, my skin is glowing and soft. This is definitely a night cream I will repurchase

This night crème is light-weight and creamy. It absorbs easily into my skin, which is important as I use it just before going to bed (so don't want residue on my pillow). It is very moisturising and feels like a nice cool layer of hydration after cleansing. It has a subtle rosehip scent, which again is good as I don't like strong scents when going to sleep.

Love that it is a New Zealand brand and that is comes in a glass jar. However the overall packaging is a little deceiving as the box is a lot bigger than the jar. I get that it is so it stands out on the shelf, but it seems very wasteful. Bit on the expensive side, but it goes on special quite often at Countdown.
