The Essano Collagen Boost Night Creme is an affordable night time face care option. The consistency was thinner than I expected, as other night cremes I have used have been quite thick, however this means that a little product goes a long way, and the jar will last some time. I was initially put off by the smell, as I am not a fan of florals and it's definitely quite rose scented, however it is not too overpowering as to prevent me from using it. I like how easy it is to quickly rub into my face before bed, it is a product that fit seamlessly into my night time routine. After using this night creme for a week, there is not a noticable difference in my skin's appearance, but it does feel hydrated and soft. I am keen to continue using to see if it has any impact on fine lines and wrinkles.

I was lucky to get to trial this night cream as part of a trial team. Firstly the packaging is sleek and classy, the jar is nice and heavy and has a quality feel about it. The cream itself is rich, thick and has a gorgeous herbaceous smell to it that's not too overpowering. It feels luxe and rich going on but is a bit heavy which worried me as I have oily skin. It takes some time to absorb slowly but when it did my skin felt gorgeous and plump so I was hopeful for a great result. When I woke in the morning my skin was quite oily and there was just no wow factor for me, it's not bad but it's not outstanding either. I think it's probably better suited to normal or dry skin types. My skin is oily but also somehow simultaneously dehydrated which makes it tricky. I'm yet to find a night cream that delivers great hydration but isn't too heavy. All in all this was a lovely cream but just a tad on the heavy side for my skin.
Tips: I would avoid if you're an oily/combo skin type but give it a whirl if you're a normal to dry type, for the price point it's a great product.
This night cream is super thick and creamy and smells delicious... I didn't notice a huge difference in the appearance of my skin, but I enjoyed using it regardless. It may have been a bit too thick for my sensitive skin because I developed a couple pimples after using it for a few days, but I will definitely finish the tub and might buy again!
This is a nice thick consistency cream which does absorb into the skin well. Skin felt hydrated after application. I didn't see a huge difference in my skin over all after using the product for a few months but is definitely a nice product on the skin and a great price
The Essano Collagen Boost night cream is a lovely, light product that I will continue using in the future. Using before bed after cleansing at night, I never once felt like my face was oily or greasy after application. Many night creams are thick and greasy feeling, (which can give you the impression they must be doing some good work!) but although this cream is fairly light and absorbs into the skin quickly, it still seems to deliver on its promises. In the morning my skin is feeling nicely hydrated and refreshed. Given the fact I’ve only been using this for approximately a week, I can’t honestly say if there are any outstanding skin results yet, but I think this is a good product for those on a budget who want a quality, collagen product, that will give you nice hydration. The pottle is quite small, but the packaging is sophisticated and doesn’t look cheap at all. Overall I’d recommend this to anyone who is in their 30s or younger, perhaps those with more mature skin might want something a little more in a night cream. Great value though.
I was very excited to try this as I’m a big fan of natural organic skin care and I love the fact that it contains rosehip oil. I’m also excited to see if it does what it says it does and reduces fine lines and wrinkles - time will tell! The first I noticed was the cute packaging (I’m a sucker for something that looks nice in my bathroom cabinet). It is a small pottle which made me a bit wary of how long it would last - but I soon discovered you only need a very small amount. It smells great and is not too overwhelming. The product absorbs well as long as you use the right amount, and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and firm, without being too heavy or greasy. That being said, I did feel a little sticky after about five minutes or so. I’ll keep using the product, but I personally prefer the feeling of a serum and I’m tempted to try this together with the Collagen Boost Serum.
Tips: A little goes a long way - I found I used too much initially and had to really work it into the skin for it to absorb
I really love the general scent of the essano range, the price point is always mid, which is great, it’s easily accessible, again big plus. This one didn’t quite do it for me. The texture, amazing, smell good, but it’s so thick that it just sits on top of my skin and it takes a long time of using it (couple of weeks) to actually see much of a change in hydration. I think this would be great for girlies who are probably less dry than I am, but this one just didn’t quite hit the mark where I needed it to.
Tips: Not for dry girls
Anything that promises to promote or repair collagen immediately gets my attention! So I was excited to get this cream in a recent Best Beauty Box Ever. I love the packaging, very sleek and elegant looking and I like the smell. The cream is very soft and feels lovely when I put it on my skin. The only downside is that I feel my skin is quite oily by the morning so I do think that overusing this product could cause breakouts. For that reason, I only use it once or twice a week (recommended is three) and make sure I wash my face early the next morning. Overall, I'll probably use this again, it's a nice night cream - who knows if it actually repairs collagen, but one can only hope right!
I recently discovered that my skin is in urgent need of more care during the colder season, and that there are more little wrinkles popping up with age. I did not want to spend a huge amount for a night cream, so had a look at the supermarket, and bought essano Collagen Boost Certified Organic Night Crème on special. I have tried products from the essano brand before, and liked that they are using organic ingredients, and are not doing any testing on animals. Always great to support a NZ company aswell. I have been using the night creme for a couple of weeks now, and find it helping in making my face feel smoother during the day. Application is easy after cleansing, and creme goes into your skin easily. Nothing worse than a fatty film on top your skin when you go to bed that ends up all over your pillow! It has a pleasant, unintrusive smell, and packaging size (50g) seems to be sufficient for at least 4-6 weeks. I think I might need something that is even a bit richer, but for the meantime, this product will help in nourishing my skin at night.
Tips: The recommended regime on the back of the packaging suggests using a serum before applying the night creme, which might help achieve a better result.
I grabbed this while travelling as I’d forgotten my usual night cream. I have used lots of the other essano products and loved them! For me, this cream didn’t absorb into my skin at all! Applying it I was left with white streaks of it all over my face that just wouldn’t soak into my skin. I continued to use it just because I didn’t want to waste the product and in case it was just a once off and my skin was damp or i had applied too much etc. Unfortunately it continued to happen! The results were what I would expect from a night cream, my skin did feel really hydrated but I wouldn’t buy again just because of how it applied.
