Used this for a few days on my face but I stopped using it because it made my skin a little red. Feels heavy on the skin. Hard to blend in. Instead of throwing it out I have been using it on my stomach stretch marks for about a month and haven't noticed a difference.

Didn’t like the consistency of this product at all. Left me with breakouts. Smells really weird, and the oil is very thick. I won’t use it again.
I really don't like this product, as I found it hard to soak into my skin, and it made me break out (which is not a normal thing for me). It did nothing for uneven skin tone, or scars, it literally did the opposite (I got scars from the pimples it caused). Will literally never use again and warn my friends and family against.
Bought this , used it for three times then I stopped I didn't like it at all made my sick feeling so oily and also started to breakout even more
I really wanted this product to work on my skin but I do find it too heavy. After a week of daily use I started to break out. I’ve still got the bottle and will use occasionally on a lazy night but I wouldn’t purchase again. I have used Evolu Rosehip oil in the past and found that both a better texture and smell.
I do use cleansing oils on my combination skin and have no problems with them.
A very accessible price however and available widely at the supermarket. I’m sure it does suit other skin types - just not mine.
I have combination-oily skin that is prone to adult cystic acne. I'm in my mid-thirties so am looking for anti-aging benefits as well. I read a lit about the benefits of rosehip oil and was very keen to give it s try. I used this in conjunction with the essano rosehip cleanser and their toner. I used the system for about 3 weeks and found the results were underwhelming. The packaging is lovely and I live that it's an NZ company but the product did very little for my skin. It didnt make me break out any more but it didn't aid in reducing breakouts either. My skin didnt feel particularly nice while using the oil and I didn't notice any improvement in the appearance of my skin. My skin is very troublesome though so its hard to find products that work.
I tried this product as part of a gift set I received, the face and head cream was great but the rosehip oil had an almost fish oil smell and didn't really absorb into the skin to well so it almost left a constant greasy film
Tips: Not good for combination skin
I'm not too sure on this one. I used it morning and night after my cleanser but my skin just felt really oily (i understand its an oil) but it didn't feel as though it soaked in and my skin did not seem to change at all ..I guess its good it did not break me out but I wont repurchase it, I'm sure there's something else out there for me
Well I couldn’t make it past the smell of this product. I don’t know what it is that is in it that make it smell but it reminds me of a burned match stick. In fact so much so I mixed in some essential oils to ameliorate the smell.
Now anyone that knows me knows I’m not a fan of strong scents but really this was a surprise. I opened it a couple of months ago and the first time I used it I thought it was odd. Then I went to use it more recently and it reminded me of the same thing so I don’t think it’s an issue with the freshness of the product. I just don’t like the smell, so it’s a subjective thing.
I use it on my hands and arms at night now and it does do the job but I don’t find it as moisturising as say the Plantae Rosehip Fruit and Seed Serum that I use on my face at night as a skin treatment. I was hoping to use the Essano for that purpose when I brought it but to me it doesn’t cut the grain. Other people love it though - and that’s a good thing!
Tips: If you don't like the scent a few drops of other essential oils in the mix works well. I used Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Rose Geranium and that's a nice combination.
I have received a sample size of this when this product was just released. I have normal/oily skin and I found that this oil really dried up my face ans it just felt really awful for about a week. For me I found this as a very greasy formula.
