I bought this to try and used a tiny bit the first night. The next morning my eyelids were swollen and sore. The swelling went down after a day but I was left with itching for a week and 2 weeks later still have a bruised red look under the eye. I guess it's not for everyone!

While I like these rose hip products in short I didn't notice a huge difference with lines round the eye area but this could probably be due to it being natural based. When companies try to leave as much man made chemical additives preservatives ingredients etc out and just use natural resources extracts as ingredients you can be slow to get results because the product hasn't got the added science to accelerate the results. This of course doesn't mean that the product does not work. This brand is affordable readily available and highly certified as organic plus NZ made the website about the company is very useful too if you want to find out more. The products smell rosy too & always seem to really hydrate the skin so be weary not to use much if your skin is oily. Take care with vitamin a & e cosmetics like this one to still use sunscreen! I don't plan to re purchase any time soon but I would some of their other products.
I have a slight obsession with eye creams and currently use 2 different ones each day. I like a light one for day time under makeup and a heavy one at night to really nourish my under eye. This one is lightweight, absorbs easily and isn’t terrible under concealer but I don’t really find it Drs anything. I’ve noticed no changes (except my concealer peeling under my bottom lashes). Eye cream is definitely a personal choice and although it’s targeted towards someone my age (38) with it being advertised as “lifting” I think it would be better suited to someone just starting to use eye cream. I paid about $16 on special and as a tiny amount goes a long way it’s definitely value for money. The tube is slim and great for travel and the nozzle is great as it keeps things quite clean as it can be applied directly to the eye. While I probably won’t buy this for myself again I may buy it for my teenage daughter.
I'm a fan of Essano products due to them being gentle on my skin and of course they are Made in NZ. I bought this product because of the vitamins a & e and ofcourse the rosehip which I find doesn't irritate my skin. It's also organic which is a real bonus. It's a lot more liquid and not as rich as the collagen cream but still a nice product. It's not greasy, quite light and absorbs well. A good moisturizing base for eye makeup.
Tips: Be careful to squeeze out only a tiny amount otherwise you'll end up with more than you need.
I purchased this eye cream from the Chemist Warehouse, the lady working there recommended it and I was wanting to try something different so a natural product sounded quite good and it was more affordable than the other eye creams. The formula is very light and you don't need a lot at a time so it has lasted me awhile. It absorbs well into my skin and leaves it quite soft. I haven't noticed a visible lift but it does feel like its doing good for my skin. I'm not a fan of the smell but a lot of eye creams don't smell that great anyway, especially because you don't really smell it when its near your eyes anyway. I think for someone wanting an eye cream that really targets lines and wrinkles this one wouldn't be the best choice but for someone younger that just wants to care for there eye area this one is good for softness.
Used for about 2 weeks. Eyes slowly got worse which i thought was hayfever for a start. Then wondered if it was this cream so stopped using. 2-3 weeks later I am still coping with my eyes recovering. All puffy and red. Terrible experience. I'm glad it works for some people but it certainly didn't work well for me. I saw another review like this which helped me to know it was the cream so that's why i wanted to add my review.
It is a good eye cream for the price. If you have oily skin because it is quite drying. It takes a while to absorb completely but it does the job.
Tips: Massage it all around your eyes and your EYELIDS if they are oily. It creates a perfect base and prevent those horrible oily lines on your eyelids.
I really enjoyed this one!
Comparing it to other eye creams I have used, this is one of the best. I have tried a lot of eye creams that have really burned my eyes if I accidentally rub my eyes, and it somehow gets in my eyes. (I know this isn't meant to happen) But this product never bothered my eyes.
I always wondered why so many eye creams burned my eyes if they are meant to be near my eyes..
But this was a hydrating eye cream, I didn't see too much difference, but I know if I use it long-term, it would make a difference. The tube it comes in is a little tiny, so it doesn't last too long!
It has a nice feel to it, but compared to the other Essano eye cream range, I feel this cream would be more suitable to a younger age group eg late 30's, early 40"s. I'm 49 and it didn't really smooth out my lines, but it felt good on my skin
I purchased this eye cream at Countdown at a very reasonable reduced price, a nice pink and gold 15ml tube. The cream is a yellow thin texture that sinks into skin easily. Non irritating to eyes and enriched with vitamins A and E. The cream softened and smoothed my skin but I didn't notice a huge difference in improving wrinkles or a "visible lift" as advertised. I didn't like the scent, it smelt sort of herby, I prefer a more floral scent. If you are after a budget friendly eye cream, which is full of natural ingredients this fits the bill, but I won't be repurchasing, mainly because of the scent.
Tips: Use a small amount under eyes and on eyelids.
